I have the same place its indeed an amazing location! If i want to go to town i get a chopper fly there in a minute or so, call my tank & cause chaos! Otherwise i ride my bike or start missions & make people start from way out there!! Hahaha! I love making RR farmers start miles away from it i sometimes fly to an island & blow up any choppers or boats they call for!

Just curious about those who have come to enjoy desert living.

 

I bought my second garage out in Blaine and I absolutely love it.

 

Short skip to the airstrip where you can call-in Pegasus vehicles, there's a Survival station across the street, a quick jaunt to the local AmmuNay, LSC, convenience store, and clothing shop - which is coincidentally stocked with the same merchandise as the fancy shops in the city!

 

And for me, I've loaded the garage with the kinds of cars you'd want in desert life:

Sandking, Rebel, Sanchez, etc.

 

How many of you all have made this transition? What's your take on the level of interaction with others?

 

I can't help but think of the Neil Young song, where he sings, "in the desert you can remember your name, cuz there ain't no one for to give you no pain!"

The song is done by a band called "America"

(sounds a lot like neil young)

However it is not.

 

I saw them in a free concert for 4th of july.

FCKEN AMZING when they did that song.

Off topic but does anyone have gta sa on mobile.

It sucks after you beat the last mission KDST loops commercials and wont play one song

 

Cant fix it. Tried reinstalling and everything you just have to replay the whole game and never finish the mission b4 the last 3 riot missions.

 

Also other stations dont work like Radio x and sfur

Tried to... but.. I work Coachella every year IRL and ... well.. hate Coachella.. and the surrounding area (sorry to anyone who lives there) so living there in the game, next to like the most polluted "sea" In the USA.... wasnt my thing...

On your note.. I did move my 2nd place to the small 2 car garage in Paleto Bay.... and I am enjoying the move...I still got my 10 OG cars... and sh*t I dont need 20 cars.. 12 is cool for me.. Still havent filled that 12th spot (11th was the Huntley).... I use Paleto bay as sort of a hide out... keep my Canis Mesa in there to go off roading in the woods... Got the Heli pad 1 block away, the beach where my boats spawn 1 block away.... sh*ts nice up north.... SUPER MAD I couldnt buy an apartment up there... but sh*t.. Im good.. Got my OG home on Alta (which I dont ever see myself moving from) and my garage in Paleto bay.... Ive been starting in Paleto bay due to the fact that it is quiet and peaceful... and new....

Off topic: Horse with no Name was the song that replaced Heart of Gold by neil young at number 1 on the us charts. The guy singing sounds so much like Young that even his dad thought it was him!!

I picked it as the less likely to become the rural eclipse option, but apparently there's a tank delivery point nearby? Which makes the gas cylinders all around a bit worrying.

 

I found out there's also a tank delivery across the road from the Grapeseed 2 car garage.. I was in such a big tank war at the sandy shores airfield yesterday I moved back to the city.

I'm in the same spot too, and it's so nice spawning out there. For a long time now I've had my spawn point set to random, but it's nice to settle somewhere for a while. And I did buy more suitable or relevant vehicles for the area. I bought a Sanchez, a dune buggy and an ATV, all of which will be used for cruising. I was sorely disappointed by not being able to mod the ATV at all. I at least wanted to respray it, and it's now the only vehicle I have that doesn't have the clown horn.

 

There's another 6-car one closer to Fort Zancudo that is really calling to me though. I had it for a while during the bounty wars, when I used to move very regularly, and I really liked the location (the river out the back was a real draw).

 

Incidentally, call your horse YOLOSWAG. I think that's the perfect horse name.

Yeah I have the same spot. My combo is the eclipse tower with the fancy supers and sports, all black. Then for the blaine county garage its like my heavy duty base for vehicles like bison, trevors truck, mearyweather jeep, a van that looks like The A Team and a sanchez. I plan to use these for heists (if I can)

 

It really does look like a secret base for your war cars, especially when every-time I'm in a lobby no-one else seems to have it.

FWIW Jets are easy to get now and a new influx of pilots will be honing their skills. What better way to practice aerial douchery than in good ol,wide open,jet friendly area that is blaine county. If you're looking for jet kills,BC is the place to be....
