Mental state reset at 0:00 GMT+1

I think the mental state is resetting every day at this time.

 

The last two days I was playing jobs at this time. Then in free roam my state was white. Now i had a shooting with some guys and one was red. From one second to another he turns white and my state was resetted too.

I think you have to be playing peacefully for a set time, because I was a psycho on Tuesday, and when I played again on Thursday I was still a psycho.

I wonder if your stat is only immediately resetting when you're actually online playing the game. Since Tuesday afternoon (60 hours ago) my dot was deep red (five bars, now four bars) and it seems not to decrease when I'm offline. Never experienced a dot change of anyone from one second to another.

I've heard that too, but after 2 hours of cruising around making sure to avoid accidentally killing anything, I only lost less than half a bar. Other than that, mine hasn't depleted much at all since acquiring it on Tuesday.

The 48 minutes of peaceful play is spot on. I was on earlier as a full psycho and was dropping a bar every 10 minutes or so turning a paler red each time. 48 minutes later I was fully white.

If you mean the direction arrow that shows where you're facing then mine has always been white even when I spawned killed a guy for getting in a tank and getting blow up with my Lazer. I never thought to look at the pause map.

I was fully psycho and after several hours of acting completely harmless my mental state has only dropped to 60% of its maximum value. It also remained between days.

I don't know if there's another way to see it, my arrow is always showing me my current color. You can guess your color by looking in your statistics. 5 blue bars means you're red.

You mean BST +1 right? Apparently it clears within 48 minutes if you haven't been causing trouble.

It seems to be pretty random. I got to full mental the day of the patch and haven't killed a player yet and it's just gone down one bar.

I can confirm this is ABSOLUTE BULLsh*t.

I acquired "psychopath" status after killing police for 10 minutes. Played for maybe 4 hours since then and it is still not gone away.

I was in the middle of purposely getting my level up to test this, just nudged into psycho level and it reset moments after midnight UK time, the 4th time this has happened, the other two nights since its introduction I wasn't playing GTA Online at midnight.

 

It's a completely dumb implimentation, why reset at a specific time and only when you're playing the game?

you need to be playing to reset.

It has been my observation that :

- Mental state does not decrease when not logged on

- It does not reset every 48 min

- It decreases extremely slowly while playing

- doing missions does not seem to speed it up

- At approximtely 4pm PST, it resets to zero *IF* you are logged on

 

The reset happened for me two days in a row at about the same time...
