New glitch?

So I was in my garage after installing 1.13, waiting for new cars to be delivered. I heard explosions outside so I turned on the television and flipped the channel to Weazel News. Instead of loading the spectator mode, a black screen came up for about 5 seconds followed by the sound you hear when your character dies. Then suddenly I spawn in the swamp just south of Fort Zancudo! I thought maybe some crazy hacker stuff was going on at first, but I made my way back to my safe house and tried it again only to spawn just outside the airport. Can anyone else confirm the existence of this glitch?

i think someone else said that the TV kills you when switching to spectator mode or from it in 1.13(weazel news IS spectator mode). So maybe it thought you died where the player u were spectating was, so u spawned by them?
