Roofed Variants for Other Players

Hey guys,

 

I've just stumbled across some lazy coding from R* regarding the cars that originally had random roofs like the Coquette, such as carbon, no roof etc.

For other players, my coloured roof Coquette shows up as having no roof, yet when I view it, it has the roof. I cannot confirm this for other cars.

I think this was R* leaving the random nature of the roofs in the coding but having a roof show up for the player who owns the car.

Has anyone else encountered this?

yeah, I read a topic about that issue few days ago on rockstar's support page and many players took part in the discussion. I'm not sure whether that bug is particular for Coquette only, since I'm sure that it's not the case for Stinger as it does show as roofed/roofless correctly. I might check it tomorrow with my friend who is looking forward to buy roofed Banshee.
