Car now spawns outside garage if you don't drive it back in

Before the recent patch, when you loaded up GTAO with spawn location set to garage or apartment, your car would be automatically returned to your garage if you quit whilst driving about the last time you played.

 

Now, the car spawns halfway down the street outside, so you either have to run out and get it or drive a different one out.

 

It's a minor issue, but annoying the 5th time you have to leave your garage on foot. Was this mentioned in the patch notes? Why change this? Seems utterly inexplicable, serves no purpose other than to make the game slightly more irritating...

Yeah I noticed this too. It's really annoying because the car spawns no where near my apartment. Have to waste time calling that slow ass Mechanic. It's most likely a bug. THANK THE LORD the car doesn't get destroyed in the process.

I noticed and thought that maybe my Zentorno glitches out. I was going to be so passed until I saw it on the map.

There was nothing wrong with the system before, so unless Dan Houser got cheeto dust in his keyboard and pressed the wrong button, they've deliberately f*cked with it surely.

how is it that bad you see a car you like and so you get in/on it to put it in you garage and your driving you pv you will know you won't have to go all the way back to where you found the car/bike you want

Yes, obviously it is (joke)!

 

I try to do this, I am not really into role-playing, but at the end of a session before leaving I try to park my car in the garage.

 

It isn't always possible though, you might suddenly need to leave the game for whatever reason, or your system may freeze.

 

before you could just leave online and not worry about where the car was parked, now it could be anywhere (well not quite 'anywhere' but you get the idea).

 

I noticed this almost straight away when I had my first freeze (while modding the Zentorno in LSC) and loaded the game back up.

 

On the overhead 'cloud' loading screen it appears to be parked outside my garage, but when I leave the garage - it is normally half-way down the street.

 

A minor irritation, fortunately it doesn't spawn on top of Mt. Chilliad, or at the bottom of the Alamo Sea, now that would be something to complain about

I think you can call the mechanic from beside your garage now, don't have to drive far from it anymore so you can just walk out and call it

This has actually been happening to me too lately. I spawn in my Paleto house and every time I come out, one of my PVs is sitting outside the driveway in the street. Wouldn't care except it's locked. When I try to enter it gives the "you do not have access to this pv." Weird that this would just all of a sudden become an issue.
