missions that have turned frustratingly hard since update

stocks and scares is the one that pops into my head at the moment. a couple crew mates and i tried playing that on hard last night and couldn't beat it even though we played it 4-5 times lol.the fifth time we played it they left in the middle and i almost beat it but i couldn't get out the damn door to go to my car because guys kept spawning non stop. any other missions that they up'ed the difficulty so it's so hard it's kinda frustrating?

They've def rammed up the difficulty. Tried playing The Parking Garage yesterday on Hard with some randoms, and got killed twice by highly accurate shots. Before the patch, I could solo the mission on the same setting with no life lost.

Stocks and Scares now have respawning enemies.

 

Crystal Clears now have popping up ninjas.

 

And not to forget the Mega Ultimate Extreme Super Sharp Hawk-eyed accuracy of the enemy with Ultra Gigaton Armageddon enemy bullet power which basically wham-wham and wasted.

a crew mate and i played rr last night and he got his tank and i was shooting into the garage and i literally died instantly even though i only got shot once or twice. i get putting more guys in to make the missions more difficult, but why give them perfect aim also? i can't even take cover behind my car because i still die. :rol:

They didn't spawn outside the building. They drove up in cars in a predictable fashion and came in through the door in an orderly manner. All bets are off now. Plus more people spawn in the building than before. It's a hoot.

Would it be troll to say that they're trying to train people for heists? LOL

 

I welcome the increased difficulty. Now tactics and teamwork are even more important to completing Hard Jobs. I kinda feel bad for people who aren't in active crews and have to work with randoms though, because the terms "Tactics" and "Teamwork" are foreign terms to the average GTAO player.

LOL o yea its hard tried it last night for the first time... never made it up the stairs the first two times but i killed over 180 enemies both those times. the third time i made it outside the warehouse only to have npc's non stop spawn behind me. as frustrating as it was i have never had so much fun LOL. maybe i should try this with a friend instead of doing missions by myself all the time. (hard difficulty)

I think it wasn't. I remembered me and my friend used to kill the enemies at downstairs before heading up. When someone is hacking, enemies will spawn. When someone is breaking the lock, enemies will spawn again. When document is taken, enemies will spawn near the exit and then 3 or 4 chasers when you're running away.

 

The current Stocks n Scares totally respawns enemies as soon as you clean them. So it's always coming up. I really don't think you can solo this because nobody will watch your back.

i liked doing missions by myself (on hard) but, it's kinda impossible now

In fairness, Dry Docking's always been a pain for the constant, never-ending stream of NPC goons (at least, until you're in the boat)...

I'm happy they made it harder.

You don't get bored as quickly and you have to use some skill instead of just running around guns blazing.

In fairness, Dry Docking's always been a pain for the constant, never-ending stream of NPC goons (at least, until you're in the boat)...

Stocks and Scares it's insane ! Merryweather spawns non stop, it's difficult. Also I've found a lot of glitched missions after 1.13, for example LS Connection, the laptop you have to hack is glitched, also the trailer on some missions won't show up correctly.

And much more bugs and glitches I've encountered.

Sounds like fun to me.

Sure it will get frustrating but the sense of accomplishment has no price tag.

Stock & Scares is impossible to complete solo on Hard difficulty now. If anyone here can complete it solo on Hard, then I'd love to see a vid of how you do it LOL.

This thread will be nice.... some one will say "X mission is hard" then some one will respond "X mission is easy, now Y mission is hard" then some one will write "X and Y missions are the two easiest missions, there aren't really any hard missions, but the one that gets me some times is Z mission"

The Crystal Clear Out trio all had the irregular spawn dudes. It happens when there is more than one player.

However, Los Santos Connection now has the irregular spawn dudes in front of the Pegasus hangar in the third part of the mission. This never happened until after the update.

Has anyone noticed that some of these changes were happening for some and not for others before the update was released? I'm under the impression that they are making gradual changes and then announcing them in the next update.

Might be because I'm an older gamer...but aren't you SUPPOSED to be challenged by a video game? I mean...what's the point of playing a game that isn't challenging? I can't for the life of me understand how so many people can bitch about the difficulty being upped. Mind you, these are all the same people who were saying "There's nothing to do in GTAO" and "The missions are all boring". Now R* made the missions interesting by increasing the difficulty, and LOW AND BEHOLD these same people are bitching about it being to hard.

 

If you fall into that category...it's time you retired from GTAO and find something else more your speed to play. Period.

I've only hit about a dozen or so liquor stores since the update but the shop keepers seem very very eager to grab a weapon.. more so than before. Last one I hit pulled out a Combat MG lol.

Just tried to run through it solo (if we're talking about the same mission...). No dice. You literally can't crack the safe because Merryweather goons keep respawning and rushing your location while you're locked in the safe-cracking animation. You can get out of it and kill them, but they'll be on top of you again as soon as you try the safe again.

 

That said, I'm ain't even mad. I used to solo damned near every mission without ever dying. Not because I'm a badass, but because they were hella easy. Not so much now. It's actually kinda fun.
