That's how I feel. They should add more new cars to buy, but keep the rare ones just so... rare.

I hope to god they don't make the tailgater purchaseable.

 

My only rare cars now are Dubsta 2, Nemesis and Tailgater.

Buffalo MK II, Tailgater, Mariachi Tornado and Nemesis are ones that immediately spring to mind.

Pheonix is rare, I only got it a few weeks ago and i'm level 300+

 

There's the clean Rebel

Tailgater (Can you buy this now?)

That VW Minivan

The Kalahari which you can buy but I've yet to see anyone driving one.

 

There's also a clean low rider that can be found but I'm forget the name of that one. You find rusty versions of it in sandy beach area.

 

Clean Rebel has an almost infallible spawn.There's a thread regarding it somewhere.

 

clean Rebel spawns at the same beach where the clean surfer bus spawns...theres 2 spots...one on east side and one on west side...go to west side beach(you can find exact spot on youtube.

go between hours of 11am and 7pm...if neither the Clean Rebel or Bus spawns right away,exit to PS store and back into the game and both will spawn there,along with an old motorhome,a Sandking and some other pickup truck i forget the name and the Regina

 

The Manana,Peyote and HT clean Tornado all spawn on Grove Street @ night

 

The Picador can be hard to find,as can the Phoenix

Some people like to collect for the sake of collecting. That would not affect the rarity of a car generally speaking. Additionally, some people like cars because they are rare...

I'm a collector, my classics garage has a mixture of sports classics you can buy, some you can find relatively easily, and a couple that are hard to find. I keep the ones I like, for example I have no use for a Tailgater or a Sultan no matter how rare they are.

Probably, If Rockstar ever choose to make Sports and Supers stealable then they will be the only rare care anymore. The Entity XF spawned completely randomly just as I was put into a session after completing Rooftop Rumble.

I got a Sultan, a Sabre Turbo and a Tailgater yesterday, had to work for them though. Got the Sultan at the docks after dropping an F620 off to Simeon, got the Sabre after driving all over the map in a Dominator, then got the Tailgater after repeatedly playing 1 round of golf and then checking the car park after each respawn, took about an hour.

There are plenty of rare cars still. There's almost 20 that aren't on the website. And only the Roosevelt will be rare since its only a one time DLC car, everything else is just a hipster car waiting to happen.

Yes, it's storable. I found one last night, considered keeping it, but sold it htis morning. A waste of a garage space, IMO. Replaced it with a Voodoo.

With this most recent update (1.13) the F620 (among others) was added to the SSA site. Now, I believe one of the only remaining rare cars is the Buffalo MK2 (which is only glitched in) and the Romero Hearse (cool but boring to drive and mod). Is this a good thing, having the vehicles available to everyone or do you miss the days feeling special driving around in something you had to really hunt for, something you don't see often on the streets?

 

I think this is a bummer.
