I was checking my stats and wow... 22,672.26 miles

 

 

Maybe it isn't much in comparison but I've certainly put more mileage in GTA than I do in real life. How much mileage have you put on GTA?

How about instead of just giving the stats we talk about how much/little we like to drive.

 

I for one, sometimes truly enjoy driving from one end of the map to another, I love the changes, the scenery... the feel of the world. True, I get impatient at times and I just call a heli to get where I need real quick, but damn if the roads (especially at sunrise/set) are awesome.

Not sure how far i drove in total distance but I love to drive in this game. I like hopping in my Dominator and racing down long and curvy roads. It's fun to me.

I've stopped enjoying driving around aimlessly. I do drive to get places but I typically hop in a jet and fly to my destination now when I'm in free roam.

 

Unless I'm going on an offroad excursion, then I like driving.

edit: About 22 miles for every hour of gameplay.

 

I enjoy driving in the game and see it as one of the purposes of the sandbox playstyle, so I do it often. I have a compulsion to always return my vehicles to their garage before logging off so that, looking for stunt jumps, and running from the cops all contribute.

 

I think San Andreas began the "open nothingness" concept of just having huge swathes of scenery to drive around in between cities and missions, and it has carried on since. I remember countless times just bombing around in Flynt County listening to Green River in a Rancher. The games have become too visually stunning to not drive around in, and the Snapmatic isn't just there for selfies.
