I havent played GTA Online in over a week and now im getting this message well look on the bright side its all happening to us so R* will have to fix this problem fast!!

I agree with you, problems like this have been fixed in a short period of time because they happened to a lot of players.

I was getting the same error message and was following this thread. I don't know if this will help anyone else but I let the offline game load first then chose my online character and it let me log in. I'll repost if I have the same problem later.

its working for me too. i spent about 30 minutes trying to reply but when i checked and tried again it worked. i checked all my setting and it didnt work until now. i think it was just a hacker messing with it

Deleted update, installed update. Got new error saying compatablity packs need to be downloaded from the playstation a store. Which I thought was a xbox only thing

Thank you for the comment, good man, but it seems like Rockstar hotfixed the problem.

sh*t now that the problem is solved the users reading this topic went from 1.3K to 500.

Oh thank you! :) English is not my main language since i live in Mexico, i'm trying to get better at it by writing and reading in forums, i also like to practice it by watching movies in english since i don't like how Latin America dubs them.

Ok after hotfix I tried to load my online data and got "one or more compatability or update packs are missing...." so I cleared system cache on my Xbox 360 and loaded they game and it's now working.

I just got this error yesterday. I was playing just fine earlier in the day, went to get back on and got the error. I deleted the Install Game Data, reinstalled, but still get the error. I haven't tried yet today. Maybe it'll work...

 

I'm on the PS3...

 

EDIT: It worked! :) 3:24 pm EST, after reinstalling the Game Data yesterday, I can get online fine now.

 

Anyone else reporting success also? (PS3)

Sorry to bump the thread people, Just had this happen to me and a friend, Both on PS3, We even played online yesterday and it was working perfectly so this could be round 2.

They are looking into why we were getting the 'Rockstar Cloud Services' errors. Just relax, kids. So they shut the servers down, even the socialclub. They'll be back online soon enough. Right... i am currently having this problem... and this is like 2 years after every post on here... it wont even let me sign into my social club account on my phone... im begining to think someone has hacked me and deleted my online information off the social club... if that is so then making it to level 99 in two years was a big f*cking waist of time... somone please explain why i cant play gta online or sign into my social club account on my phone?

Turns out all the servers are limited... except for the social club which still makes me think i have been hacked...

Same thing is happening to me. I'm in the Midwest.. Kansas City to be exact. Not sure if its a geographical problem or not.

You aren't hacked bud, social club isn't running well right now for anyone. Calm yer tits.
