Mental Stat Problem

Raylion

Recommended Posts

My initial thoughts on mental state was that it indicated who were the aggressive players and who weren't. This is helpful if someone is approaching and gives a clue whether or not they intend to attack.

So what is the point of mental state increasing when you kill an npc...I couldn't care less that a player killed an npc, I want to know if they are an arse towards other players.

Yet again, along with passive mode, a good idea poorly implemented.

EDIT: If you're unhappy with this change please email your feedback to Rockstar at [email protected]

Ran into a lobby with 2 guys in Tanks who had a bounty, one of them ended up getting a "Psycho" mental slate after having killed a f*ckton of cops.

So, basically everyone will end up labelled a psycho? Sounds about right to me.

Yep, R* should change that to PvP only, NPCs shouldn't increase this.

You also get an increase if you kill your friends accidentally, I love suicide diving with my friends but I guess I can't do that any more >.<

I'm actually all for this new Mental Stability stat. I mean, I think it's weird how it goes up when you kill pedesterians ..but it's a good indicator to tell if the guy coming towards you is a f*cking asshole or something. Also, it'll hopefully make the lobbies less of a shootout 24/7. More incentive to start Deathmatches and stuff.

I think the color scheme to indicate who's pyscho is god awful, idk if they have a bounty or just crazy

If someone is killing a lot of npcs, like cops, it could indicate they're in a tank, rolling around.I like it, let's go mental=P

I went on a tank rampage and only killed NPCs and cops to get the maximum mental state bar to see what it was all about, suddenly every motherf*cker is now gunning for me despite the fact I didn't kill any other player. Switch sessions and again you stand out like a sore thumb, again everyone starts swarming towards you because you have a target painted on your back for simply going ape sh*t on the computer characters.

So I left freeroam and went to an invite only session.

How do I get the bar back down to nothing?

This mental state thing is BULLSH!T, it's going to totally f*ckup the gameplay of freeroam.

The problem is your state rises even when your defending yourself. SMH

I still don't understand how this works. Is it just the shades of red indicate how dangerous the players are or is there a way of actually reading about the players mental state?

I'm all for it too, but if it increases when you kill players and kill npcs then its pretty useless. Who doesn't kill npc's by shooting or running them over. Should increase only if other players are killed.

How the f*ck do I find my mental thing? And is it a red dot or skull? Wtf, they didn't even explain.

Haha this stat better be able to be lowered by not killing people or something. Cause otherwise this time tomorrow everyone is going to be labelled as a psycho with a big red dot :p

To find to your mental status you check it out like you do with any other stat. Hold down on the d-pad.

To find out what state you are in go to the pause menu and then to the online tab and then players and find you to see your state.

I'm already a psychopath for going on a rampage with my tank. I only killed 150 cops :(

Does it cool down or is it permanent?

Because if it's permanent the doo doo's gonna hit the fan

Limit the killing. Plain and simple. Unless you want that "Psycho" stat, then you got all means of doing so.

Probably has a cool down timer, I know the 'Bad Sport' rep does.
