i wonder how many of us has been waiting for V PC version without even playing the console version? (you can count me as 1)

I played the console version, but I haven't played in months just because it looks like sh*t. Hate Jaggies.

I won't play this kind of game in upscaled 720p,20 FPS and graphical features set to bare minimum in 2014/13. I want to experience it in its full glory and in the way it is meant to be played.

While I have played a good portion of the game and story on my PS3 already I figured I'd stop several months ago. I haven't even touched GTA Online because the heart of every GTA experience is the single player and SHOULD be the single player. Too bad GTA Online is a big deal these days but as long as the story mode DLC turns out to be sth really special and cool and big I don't bother.

 

But back to the story. I stopped playing GTAV on my PS3 because basically I suffer from bad framerate, around 20 fps or 25fps and I can't do this anymore. I will wait for the PS4 version now and enjoy GTAV in its full glory Sadly I don't have a PC, otherwise I'd choose the PC version for modding reasons, etc.

Wow to you guys who haven't seen or experienced anything on V, hats off to you. You're in for a real treat when you get it on PC and experience it at its finest.

 

Me, I already played through it twice on console. Couldn't wait and I'm glad I didn't because this wait is ridiculous. But now I know what I want out of the game. All I want are my CV1 Oculus Rift and a nice high end steering wheel and pedal setup so I can play GTA V as the ultimate driving and cruising around a full city simulator. It's going to be an unprecedented experience for gaming.

it's become incredibly obvious to me that rockstar has waited this long to reveal heists and possibly DLC because they want to showcase them on the the "next-gen" versions of the game. i think that's the only way they can recapture serious interest. i think the last gen version will seriously dwindle in terms of content and attention once this happens, which is good because last gen needs to die already.

it's become incredibly obvious to me that rockstar has waited this long to reveal heists and possibly DLC because they want to showcase them on the the "next-gen" versions of the game. i think that's the only way they can recapture serious interest. i think the last gen version will seriously dwindle in terms of content and attention once this happens, which is good because last gen needs to die already.

I haven't played it on console. I've only seen screenshots, not been looking at vids of gameplay etc other than the actual trailers released by Rockstar. I also avoid reading about spoilers in the game etc, I just click away the tab or go browse somewhere else.

If by any chance (or lack of ) nothing happen around E3. I'll start to wait for Far Cry 4. I loved FC3 and I expect 4 to be as good or even better.

Isn't that like the same of ANY GTA game, everything isn't unlocked right away it's take a good handful of missions for stuff and things to do to slowly unlock, it's been that way since, well, always, only difference with GTAV is that the whole map is open from the start.

Well don't complain about daft things then. For example, go play San Andreas, do ONE mission, then roam around, nothing is open, no barbers, clothing shops, tattoo places, the gym, etc, all closed off until the player does the missions to unlock them.

On PC: 1080p/60FPS AA, DX11, higher resolution textures, no FPS drops, no lag, no pop-ins, so much NPC's and vehicles on streets.

And modding.

Aside from no FPS problems and lag, this will not affect the core gameplay which, as you say, "sucks giant donkey balls".

 

It's beyond ludicrous to condemn a game, a GTA game at that, after one f*cking mission.

 

You haven't played GTA V until you've unlocked Trevor. You just haven't.
