I'm hyped as f*ck for Watch Dogs, V looks pretty crappy now.

Even if V is coming soon it still won't be the same feeling playing it for the first time as when it was released. Rockstar don't give a sh*t about PC anymore, otherwise they would have announced it long ago. There's nothing else to discuss.

Okay, lets ignore that Rockstar North has always brought their GTA titles to PC. Lets use a different developer, a different franchise as evidence to support the idea that the PC files mean nothing.

Ive just tried Watch Dogs on Pc, and iam sooo disappointed!

 

On Ultra settings, it recomends me to have at least 3GB VRAM, and i got 2GB, but tried it anyways..

 

some things look good, but overall its a very bad game! I can promise that the russian guy did play on High or Ultra!

 

And the game is also very bad optimized, so sometimes it doesnt even run smooth on Med/high! And my GPU usage and CPU usage was never on even 70%.

 

The shadows and everything looks very cheap! The damage on the vehicles is terrible!

 

Here is my spec:

 

Intel i7 2600K @ 4.8Ghz with Corsair H100 Push&pull Nocthua NF-P12 (4X120mm)

Asus Direct CUII GTX 680 2GB OC @ 1200Mhz

16GB DDR 3 Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz

If Sony gets an announce deal, it will be only for the PS4 ofc. Why would they announce XBox One game? They are rivals, it is not profitable to announce something that your rival will benefit from it too.

So, as I said, If Sony announce GTA V for PS4, I personally expect that R* would announce X1 and PC version the following day, at the earliest point.

MB something will happen, and they will announce PC version too. PC will never be rival to X1 or PS4. It is the ULTIMATE platform, and always will be above them.

Aw you beat me to it, but there is another video with some more stuff... I mean come on, WTF was UBISOFT doing for almost 6 years? Let's be honest GTA IV that is "old" beats that "NG Engine" by a mile... if IV was like that imagine V fully optimized running the latest tech... can you imagine? I can't...

 

 

I bet Rockstar downloaded a copy of the game soon as it landed on torrents just to test it and after 10 minutes of playing they fell on the floor laughing and the rest of the day they started to think about jokes between "Watch Dogs" and Chop... I thought WD would lower the heat for the waiting for V, but right now I'm not even thinking about getting it from a torrent to test it.

 

Seriously can't event shoot into the water (amazing enhancement with fully tessellated water, bla bla bla), no damage in buildings, pedestrians are like poles and come on 1 shot kill? What is this, Hardcore Mode? Hurry up with V PC R*... far as I can see WD only looks cool at night with heavy rain and we need to wear some shades to be fully immersed ... I'm with high expectations for AC Unity, I hope they don't screw it up too.

^ When you compare games in that way, it's easy to make one game look laughable. They could do that video with the goal of pointing out GTA IV's "flaws" and you would get the same result. They were clearly going for different things. And R* will always win when it comes down to certain details within the world. That's their thing and sometimes to a fault.

Terms of Quality of the game, GTA is still a better game, but the company sucks for ignoring PC too long.

 

From the company aspect, UBI at least they are better for releasing the game equally to all platform(s)

Well maybe in you neighborhood or within your group of friends it's like that, although I actually get games from torrents to actually test them before buying them. I had a lot of problems in the past with games I bought that didn't run as they meant. And in my country or at least in the stores I buy them there is no "get your money back if your not satisfied", if you pay unless the game is actually broken you can't get your money back... and with broken I don't mean falling on the floor.

 

I did that with GTA IV and the game ran good enough so i bought it, I did the same with NFS Rivals and I installed the game and didn't bought it, same for FIFA 14... I installed the game I didn't like it and didn't play it. Some of these games had demos others didn't, although the final product is not always like the demos, so I have to test before buying. I used to pirate games when I was younger and it was te only way to get access to anything, but now I don't need to do that neither I want. Honestly i don't think I'm doing anything wrong, it used to be like that years ago with SHAREWARES, where you would get the full game but it was limited by time and if you liked it you could unlock it.

 

It was a better way to test the games at least i think like that, and I'm just doing a "test drive" like you can do with any car before buying. A console game you can test in the store a PC game you can't because it depends on your particular configuration.

 

I had IV pre-ordered when I downloaded it from the torrent, if I couldn't run it I would wait till I had a capable computer, I'll do the same with V most likely even if it has some "funny" prevention for cracks I don't care, I just wanna see it in terms of performance, although I'm not so worried like I was with IV, my only worry right now is to know if my CPU won't die before the game is out... it's starting to struggle.

 

So as you can see what you call "piracy" I call it a public service that Game Developers/ Publishers don't have available. If I'm not sure something will run in my machine I rather not risk it, money is hard to earn and doesn't grow in the trees.

Rockstar would then later expand on the announcement on their Newswire, explaining that along with GTA V's PS4 relaunch, is the Xbone and PC relaunch. I think Microsoft has done something similar before.

At last E3, in fact. The Phantom Pain was confirmed for Xbone at Microsoft's conference, then later that day a PS4 version was confirmed.

I really liked some of the visuals in Trailer 2. Like the detail on Trevor's shirt. Wouldn't mind the PC version looking similar to that with a lot more high-quality texture/DX 11 work.

It's not a comparison of gameplay features, just graphical details. For a game that boasts a true next-gen looking experience, it's a very appropriate comparison to make.

Honestly, though? Even though I think WD looks great. I think V will just blow it out of the water due to the art direction. The colors and the vibrancy of LS just tramples Chicago's dull day-time lighting when it comes to eye candy.

 

However, GTA V could use some better night time rain effects. In fact, the rain should be improved overall Everything tends to look a bit more uh... dried out? I realize that's what rain does, duh. It makes stuff look grittier and washed out. But the way V does it during daytime is just odd to me. I can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't look right.

 

And again, people. 4k textured Trevor penis. Make it happen, Rockstar. I want to see all the details. This is what the master race demands. Full 4k nudity support.
