I loved Mafia games,first one is probably the most realistic GTA clone ever (you could only carry up to two large weapons and five small weapons,you would get a ticket for speeding,running red lights or crashing,if a cop saw you commit a crime you could kill him before he would report you to the station and give you wanted level,you would run out of fuel if you drive for too long without refueling,if you shot only a few rounds and then reloaded the gun you would waste all the other bullets you had in that magazine...),and while the second one was less realistic,it still had some realistic features (hubcaps would fall off in high speed driving,you could get rid of wanted level by bribing the cops,if you shoot up some store or bar and return later,there would be cops inside asking witnesses about what happened,if your car got too damaged it would break down and you could fix it...).

I hoped motorcycles would be added in Mafia 2,part of it was set in the 50s when bikes became more of a mainstream mode of transport,so they could have made some members of the greasers gang ride some bobber bike and make some civilians occasionally ride some classic Harley Davidson or Indian.I hope they put a few bikes in the third game.

Well, there's a possibility there could be biker gangs, if the game is set in the 70s, then we have the Vietnam war, after the war ended many biker gangs formed, of course they were only in early stages, so it would be unrealistic for Mafia 3 to have a big biker gang like modern day Hells Angels etc. But we can speculate and hope.

 

Yeah,I know about that,in their early days back in 50s and 60s biker gangs were more like just groups of guys who loved to ride bikes and party hard (something like in that old movie The Wild One) and didn´t start with organized crime until around 70s or 80s.Still,I would like to see some classic motorcycles regardless of a biker gang being in game or not.I hope there will be something like these:

I really wish this series was in the hands of Rockstar. I have trust issues with this Hangar 13 company.

That'd be terrible.

 

I'm nervous about Mafia III only because I loved Mafia II. After reading the stuff on Hangar 13's website I'm a bit more confident. The staff all seem to have good pedigree including the technical director from 2K Czech. I also think in this post GTA V world 2K will have high ambitions for another game of that ilk. As such I suspect Mafia III will have been treated as a potential golden goose.

I really hope they're going to continue their quality storyline material. But please... do what Maffia 2 did right and improve upon it (like super hugely). And for the love of god don't f*cking dare to strip the game of pretty much 80% of the content!

Mafia 2 was great... just like the first game. But they cut so much sh*t it's unbearable...

I believe multiple protagonists because it looks like that's the way it's going. I don't care to be honest, I just don't want 2k to keep on focusing on multiplayer if there was one. Just like how R* gives no love for us singleplayer players
