you cant post negative feedback in this thread @luisnikko will go berserk

Yea? I guess you didn't do your homework to check before you talk again. You spend too much time only to bitch something you can't move on from.

The official Twitter feed fir the game has been receiving so many positive feedback about the game. Many seem to be loving this game despite all the flaws, even talking about how much this is better than GTA. The developers on the official support page are also talking about more features and patch updates to be released very soon. They are working on many of the complaints posted here.

Its unfortunate some people are whining instead of helping the developers to make the game better, esp., looking at how active they are in responding to many of the customers.

Yep. They responded to my feedback and complaints too. That's nice actually. I was expecting no reply or one-liner template..

Cassandra and Burke are kinda greedy from the way they talk. Especially Cassandra...

There is a very good reason for Burke to be greedy. It's uncovered if you finish all his side quests.

Dunno about Cassandra, but I don't like her attitude :D

The more I play the game the more I think that many of the negative comments in this thread are exaggerated. And don't start all over again - I have read your comments - and I just have another opinion.

The choices you make in the game are impactful and tie with the story nicely, unlike GTA IV where the decisions you make lacks any meaningful impact.

The story in M III has good repeat value, in addition to enhancing the game with perks, style of gameplay like stealth, freedom and choices on how you want to approach the missions. Something many people are praising as well.

I still think Lincoln should have had his own crew or gang. Don't always wanna assign territories to the lazy bastards

Real men don't need backup, esp., when talking about a war veteran. I hope the perk hit squad remains the way it is, using it only in tough times and sparingly then have them follow Lincoln and perform drive-bys which I think breaks the immersion. This isn't SA nor a tale about a gun-for-hire. The world treats and reacts to Lincoln way differently than what we have ever seen in a video game.

Here's a brilliant write-up that sums up perfectly, and should answer to why Lincoln having his own crew or gang seems wrong in the context of the story.

E: Oh, forgot to mention. Caution - Spoilers inside the link above.

I just had a sit down with Vito, Burke and Cass and I'm starting to feel like I'm interested again. One thing I do like in this game is how stealth's used. So brutal and effective.

Yes. Burke is actually understandable in the end.

Cassandra is.. Well.. Lol

Even the ending that involves her role pretty much says "no" to her.

So yesterday i beated the game ... but i had the same feeling when i have beated GTA V .. the same repetetives :/
But at least GTA has the Online version , that's the thing i was hoping i can find in MAFIA III that can makes it better than GTA , Such as the player and his friends can create their own family and control specefic district , and can have some Mafia wars with other players to take control of their districts ... we can't find these things in GTA especially when MAFIA III has its own charm :bored:

But i heard that 2K Games have created an online verison of this game For ANDROID/IOS called MAFIA III Rivals :

Without writing so much words , this is a simple multiplayer Android/ios game , but it focuses on the story of MAFIA III ...

It focuces on the minor characters which you used to kill them or deal with them on the console ...

it is not a perfect game , and it doesn't contain all the features i wanted ..

But at least we can enjoy some MAFIA wars when we are away from Our PC/Consol ... don't you think ???

You could try reading a book when you're away from your gaming system, you know?

Mafia should stay single-player ( story driven ) game only.

GTA games are best suited for all the multiplayer fun.

Man, just completed a mission where you attend a certain party...Olivia...

The hit on Olivia Marcano, very Hitman inspired. Amazing. Spiking the guests with LSD and watching them trip balls as the pianist does a rendition of White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane

That's one mission I'll remember forever.

That mission is one of my favorites. lol. Although I really don't like when things are too scripted and ask me to do and press this that.

I have a little tip/an observation I'll share.

Yesterday I was playing the mission "Protection", and one of the objectives was to take out a beat down crew. They were located on 4-5 different places on the map. When I had killed them all - or thought I had - the box for the objective still wasn't ticked. No destination mark was visible on the map eventhough the objective was activated. Well, I thought it was a bug - but it turned out not to be. When I wiretaped a certain junction box, and it was by pure coincidence, then suddenly a new destination mark for a beat down crew showed up in that area. After killing them the objective was completed!

I knew that a junction box could hide a racket, the game explains that well, but I didn't know that it could also hide other mission destinations. That was an eye-opener for me!

Am I alone?

I must say every time Son Of A Preacher man comes over the radio it gives me goosebumps and makes me think of Vincent and Mia in Pulp Fiction.

God bless you Dusty Springfield.:)

The soundtrack in this game is one of the best I've heard since Vice City.

No, you can't open the trunks, and about Joe - well, judge for yourself:

I hope there will be a way to remove the tutorials on the left of the screen someday. I don't know how many times it said how to perform Brutal Takedowns

I'm still enjoying the driving :)

Has anyone noticed car customization is only for the Samson Drifter and no other car. I wonder why, even though it says for all vehicles smh

Wow! the story is good  I'm taking my time with it, I will start a new game when these glitched side missions are fixed, I still can't find Chet "Lucky" Carbonale for Vito

Is there anyway to reassign rackets and districts? I can't find it as a option. I guess it's like a movie once done can't be undone.

It's very different from Mafia 2, but I still enjoy playing it, and the combat, driving and story is very good.

That may be because he is located in an area where you haven't wiretaped a junction box yet. Edited by C64fanatic

It's not that, he was there the first time but his guards killed me twice, I tried a third time and he disappeared from the mission location, others have commented on youtube in the comments having the same problem :(

According to all what i have read and watched the game flopped because of these six things:

*Lack of Exploration

*Outdated Gameplay for the an Openworld game in 2016

*No Mini-games.

*Bugs and No optimisation.

*Repetitive Missions

*No Online mode

Note:What game does not have Online mode in 2016? I guess Hangar 13 lacks experience.

Lack of multiplayer is the least of Mafia III's problems. And gameplay isn't exactly outdated - it's uninspiring and already seen in the media.

Online shouldn't be in games that don't need it. I would rather they focus on the campaign, if Mafia is bad now then what makes you think it would be better with online?

Spec Ops The Line is a good example of a game that didn't need mp since its campaign was awesome unlike the bland mp.

I'll agree there, I'm sure I even heard Status Quo on one of the stations. The music is damn impressive.

I'm not as far as most here but really enjoying the story, and the way it's told being so different to most games and I enjoy the documentary style. Even down to a small detail, in the 2nd mission I managed to wreck the getaway car, and the game cut back to the guy being interviewed who went "No, No, that can't be right" before it told me I failed. Small touch, but really enjoyed that.
