-Tenpenny is an overrated antagonist. Sonny, Billy, Dimitri and Pegorino are FAR better characters.

Yeah no, just no, no.

Dimitri is sh*tty, uninteresting and overrated to no end, Jimmy was a f*cking chump and Sonny only appeared like three times.

Tenpenny was a presence that was felt all the time, he was hilarious, badass and voiced by Samuel Motherf*cking L Jackson, that's a combo right there. Easily the best antagonist not only in gta but in overall videogames.

Tenpenny became overbearing and annoying to me after a while so his character eventually lost its spark to the point that I really didn't care if he died or not.

I wanted to ring the necks of Sonny and Dimitri so bad because I knew they were in the back ground playing their mind games, but I couldn't get to them until the right time...

I guess I just don't see what's so amazing about him.

Anyway some more..

-Cesar should've been the protagonist in San Andreas. Cesar doesn't strike me as someone who would pussy out if someone tried to intimidate him and would've made a more compelling character than CJ.

-If R* really wanted to make Trevor more appealing to the masses who just want to cause chaos without caring whether it conflicts with his morals then they could've made him more in Tommy's vein instead of being a filthy, dirty, methhead f*ckwit.

-GTA IV's (and even GTA V's) soundtracks are solid. They're actually full of old school songs from the vintage of Vice City and San Andreas so IMO they're just as good.

Infinite warfare has a pretty good story.

I think Dice took far too many liberites with BF1 and it ruined the game. They did it to pander to sh*tty ass cod fags.

It's topic about GTA not CoD...

Anyway:

- TBOGT=IV>SA>VCS>VC>III>TLAD>V>LCS

- SA had some major flaws

- VC is overrated

- SA has best radio soundtrack

- V has best score

- IV and LCS have both best theme songs

- IV deserves remaster

- SA Stories is needed

- V cars designs are great, but lack of IV vehicles is dissapointing

- Planes in V are absolutley pointless (still fun tho)

- Driving in IV was at the same time sh*t and fun

- sh*t-ton of minigames need to return in VI

- Vigilante missions in 3D Era are the worst part of it. IV were great tho

- Vice City shouldn't be touched in VI. LV and SF would be much more interesting areas to explore

- HD LC is the best city

- Online is fun but is misdirected

- Online is fun but is misdirected

Heheh. Yup.

OT:

- I enjoyed TBOGT more than TLAD (but GTA IV was better than TBOGT), mainly because they added more fun weapons to blow things up with and just made things a lot crazier. That APC, man.

-Speaking of bikers, I think that the GTA Online: Bikers update could've been done a little bit better. Such as getting rid of that stupid LJT guy (I know it's you Lester) for staters.

Just my opinion though.

Yeah, LJT is pretty annoying. It should be handled like i.e. SA where if your turf (bussines) is attacked it would flash on the map. As for supply you should just get the SMS or E-Mail.

Anyway, here is also few things that annoyed me with GTAO DLC's:

- Almost all of content should be in SP

- (maybe)Import/Export>FAF&F>Heists>Bikers>E&OC>IMaH=J2016>FS2014&2015>IGG1&2=HL=BU>SAFS>LR>BB>LR:CC>FE>CC>ID=HS>VDMS=BMV>LTS

- BB It was OK "test" update. I wouldn't add much to it.

- VDMS sucked

- BU was pretty great

- HL was pretty boring

- INaH was great car-wise

- ID sucked

- SAFS was OK

- LTS was the worst

- FS2014 was OK, but it introduced Hoaming Launcher

- Heists were first quality content that Online got

- IGG1&2 were OK

- FA was bland. The idea of activities in FR was great but it was got boring realy quickly

- LR were bad, but not the worst. It opened Benny's which is great and bringed some IV cars

- HS was only OK for the masks

- E&OC was really great

- FS2016 was great, just because it bringed back TAMPA

- J2015 bringed my two favorit cars to date

- BMV was boring rehash

- LR:CC sucked. Bringing back Virgo Classic didn't even help it

- FAF&F is the best update to date

- CC was really disappointing car-wise. The addition to creator was godly tho.

- Bikers was great, but it has three major flaws: LJT, almost no IV and TLAD bikes and bussineses should make more money

- Import/Export so far, so good. 60 car garage, R34, Comet Retro, proper Huracan... We will see.

BB - Beach Bum Update, VDMS - Valentine's Day Massacre Special, BU - Business Update, HL - High Life Update, INaH - I'm Not a Hipster Update, ID - Independence Day Special, SAFS - San Andreas Flight School Update, LTS - Last Team Standing Update, FS2014 - Festive Surprise 2014, IGG 1&2 Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 & Part 2, FA - Freemode Events Update, LR - Lowriders, HS - Halloween Surprise, E&OC - Executives and Other Criminals, FS2015 - Festive Surprise 2015, J2016 January 2016 Update (a.k.a Drop Zone), BMV - Be My Valentine, LR:CC - Lowriders: Custom Classics, FAF&F - Further Adventures in Finance and Felony, CC - Cunning Stunts

- Jimmy Peg was a lame antagonist (on the same level as Devin Weston, and worse than Steve Haines) and he's one of the reasons the Revenge ending sucks. Not main antagonist worthy at all.

- Big Smoke is the best antagonist in the series, in terms of feeling personally betrayed by a character.

  • IV is fun even after achieving 100% completion.

Money in IV didn't feel "useless."

Helicopters are better than planes.

Friend phone calls in IV aren't as annoying as most people think.

The 2D games are extremely fun.

IV has good clothing options.

GTA IV's story loses a lot of steam in the Alderney arc. Not only is the city itself bland and uninteresting, most of the characters introduced in this arc aren't particularly memorable (I like Phil Bell though) and quite frankly, I find myself getting pretty bored of the game by this point.

As much as I like IV, I have to admit that it's missions didn't exactly have a lot of variety. Yes, Three Leaf Clover exists and I think it's one of the most iconic GTA missions, but other then that it really just does mostly consist of driving point A to point B to kill a guy and it does feel a little repetitive sometimes.

Roman Bellic should've appeared in the story far more often, IMO. He just kind of f*cks off in the late game and doesn't show up again until the wedding, which kind of sucks because he's a very likable and entertaining character who isn't afraid to criticize Niko's criminal lifestyle.

Whilst I agree he should've had more of a role in the story this is one of the benefits that the friends system has. In most other GTA games characters that should've had more of a role are never to be seen again.

Atleast in the gaps Roman's not involved in the story he can still hang out with Niko so it's not too bad IMO.

I'm sick and tired of Rockstar 'reimagining' cities that they have already done. This is just a cop out for them to rehash sh*t. I don't want Vice City, San Andreas or Liberty City again. Put in some f*cking work and come up with something new. It's not like Rockstar is a small studio strapped for resources or something anyway.

- I think that vice city was the first (and only) GTA game to perfectly nail motorbike's handling. Every bike feels different, and R* was able to capture the speed, physic and movements of the biker. "First time's the charm"

- It's Toni Sip-riani not Toni Kip-riani

Actually, in Italy they would pronounce it "Chip-riani" like the word 'cello' or 'ciao' but some reason in the USA they pronounce all latin 'C's' softly. Probably because of Spanish. It always bugs me in Mafia stories in the USA, they can't even pronounce their own names properly.

The multiple protagonists was one of the features which ruined GTA V SP apart from the already lack of SP content. Rockstar made a poor attempt at connecting the storylines of 3 characters. It wasn't even needed. I would preferred to play the whole Game as Michael, with Franklin being his handyman. In my books, there is no place for having a Trevor. I would prefer in they drop the multiple protagonists thing in the next GTA.

  • All the GTA protagonists (except for Vic and Toni) are overrated.

San Andreas had the weakest storyline of the III era.

Lance Vance, Catalina, Sonny Forelli, Sal, and Tenpenny are highly overrated. (For the last time, when something is overrated, it is held on a much higher regard than it really deserves. It doesn't mean that something sucks or is bad.)

Other characters such as Kendl, Ryder, Big Bear, B-Dup, and Emmet had wasted potential.

VCS has a better storyline than VC.

GTA 4's storyline, as good as it was, is a little overrated.

  • I'm afraid of the future of GTA. If the most recent GTA Online DLCs show the way Rockstar want to go, GTA VI will be some Saints Row-esque sh*t.

My favourite cars in GTA IV consist the Admiral and the Virgo.

GTA is easy. Way too damn easy for people to be making thread after thread about "hardest missions".

IV’s driving is stiff, slow, and overall a step backwards from the games before it.

Flight School missions are a breeze, yes including gold requirements.

The Driver is easy at best and reasonably challenging at worst. Completed ot on my first try no fluke.

VC’s cars were too slow and they’re only slow because that’s the only way you can make Vice City seem big.

Luis was a prick and never had anything likeable about him.

I think that a GTA game without a major city would be a good idea.

V’s mountains look very pretty. But this is a game, not an art gallery. Tell the screenshot whores to take a hike and give me some goddamn gameplay.

SA’s radio seems fine at first but gets real f*cking old real quick. K-DST is overrated as hell.

Rockstar needs to cool it with the two rap stations bullsh*t. We’ve had this for like 3 games now

I was disappointed when GTA IV came out and there were hardly any military vehicles. TBOGT was an improvement though.

Oh, and I get set off a little when I hear people trying to say there shouldn't be any military vehicles in GTA - especially when they try to claim the old games didn't have them.

I'm not really sure this is an unpopular opinion as it seems to be a commonly shared view in the GTA V forum, but regardless I agree. It wasn't handled any where as well as GTA IV/EFLC.

Having multiple protagonists shoe horned into one story completely failed IMO. The reason GTA IV/EFLC worked was because it was three stories overarching eachother without compromising single player from each perspective.

  • V's soundtrack is actually good.

I always prefer the original AK-47 in IV and VCS over the Chinese clones in every other game. V's assault rifle is the worst one yet.

Pre-Heists Online is way better than present Online.

SA's Los Santos is better than V's.

SA's soundtrack is better than Vice City's.

V's FPV is pathetic at best.

Talk shows (esp. in VC & SA) are funny.

Affordable sedans are better than GTA's sports and super cars. IV so far has the best balance between normal and super cars.

San Andreas' story isn't as good as people tell it to be. TBH, it compares with V as the worst storyline in a GTA game.

Steve Haines is a good antagonist. Better than Bulgarin.

Bulgarin should have more appearances in IV. Even better, he should have been killed by Niko instead of Luis.

Luis > Franklin.

Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 was the last good GTA Online update.

San Andreas atleast has the benefit of more likeable characters. That's something GTA V doesn't have. The story in San Andreas sucks, but it's the least sucky of the two.

I would rank San Andreas slightly higher, but this is right at the bottom of the series.
