- I don't like Channel X.

- The cops in the 3D era are much more annoying than the cops in the HD era. III's cops can be especially irritating if I can't remember where the Pay N' Sprays or cop bribe icons are.

- The Z Type is an ugly car.

- Trevor is overrated. I don't completely dislike him, but a lot of his actions (such as murdering Floyd and Debra, two people who did nothing wrong) really rubbed me the wrong way on my last playthrough.

- I like Ron and Wade more than Trevor, and I always have.

- San Andreas was WAYYY overrated.

- Vice City was even worse, at least I actually liked SA.

- IV was actually fun.

- IV's story wasn't too long.

- IV was still fun after completing the storyline

- SonOfLiberty is not the worst fanboy on this forum.

- I liked TLaD more than TBoGT.

- TBoGT's story wasn't that bad.

- I don't care about hydraulics.

- I don't care about casinos.

- I hated Lester's assassination missions.

- I liked IV's missions, they fit the theme of the game.

- Johnny's death was bullsh*t.

- Tenpenny was a lame antagonist, he was only popular because of his voice actor.

- Ryder was an awesome antagonist.

- V's map layout is messed up, the desert and Alamo sea north of the city, are you f*cking kidding me?

- The separate universe thing is bullsh*t.

- I'm exited for GTA V next gen.

- I liked San Fierro more than Las Venturas.

- I liked the special abilities in V.

- Blaine County > Los Santos.

- I don't mind yoga.

- I liked bowling.

- The friend calls in IV weren't annoying.

- The ones in GTA Online are.

- Roman never asked me to go bowling, maybe just once.

- V's Sentinel is a good car.

- The Entity XF looks ugly.

- I liked the driving in IV.

- Tommy Vercetti was lame.

- It's better to have parts of the map locked at the beginning rather that having everything open from the start.

- Luis Lopez was a decent protagonist.

- I managed to follow the damn train on my second try.

- I've never failed Three Leaf Clover.

- No checkpoints > checkpoints.

- Phone cheats > button cheats.

- Z-Type is ugly and overrated.

- I don't see what's so great about doing stunts.

- The flying cars cheat was stupid.

-I would rather see the next GTA in Washington DC than anywhere else, with Vice City being a close second

-I'd rather have Rockstar drop the whole "social commentary" act with GTA. It's GTA, not South Park

-I hate San Fierro and Las Venturas

-The subway in all GTA games are useless.

I wouldn't like Polish people to appear in a GTA Game. Or people named Alex/Oleg/Olek who get killed...

After reading your posts more carefully, you definitely are one. I don't call people "fanboys" for no reason you know.

Then why do you *question* them?

Are you an IDIOT or attention seeking troll?

Huh?

Now you're done with it or just can't help but channel your "inner-troll" every time I try to reply with courtesy?

The moderators and administrators need to focus on banning people like you because you're the type of person that makes this forum annoying.

Now please stop derailing this thread.

Sedans are better than ugly-as-f*ck sports car in GTA V.

On that note:

-I hate the supercars in V

-I hate the luxury cars in V

-I hate the people who keep demanding them in upcoming DLC for V

-The only supercar I can really tolerate is the Vacca, and even then that's a stretch

-V looks way unrealistic with the lack of "everyday cars" like what they had in IV

Agreed. Ocassionally I do crave a nice coupe like an Audi RS5 or a new BMW M6, but I miss the rinky dink and/or dull cars from IV and San Andreas.

The lack of basic cars makes high-end cars feel overrated and too common, thus you can't appreciate them as much as you could if they were rarer/if there were more everyday cars.

The Greater Los Angeles is car spotter heaven, that's obvious. But still, exotic cars and Italian saloons aren't everywhere. The only nice cars that are virtually everywhere are BMW 750Li's, Mercedes S500 W221's, and any kind of modern Range Rover.

My unpopular opinion is that the GTA fanbase did have the right to expect features that didn't turn up in GTA V. Rockstar did say that it was their most ambitious game, how can I possibly be in the wrong simply because I expected something like more interiors or safehouses? I'm not hoping for a map as big as Test Drive Unlimited or a city with over 100 interiors.

The "over-the-top" cars they always come out with in the DLCs are always the worst

The Hipster update's cars are way overpriced.

The Dubsta is NOT the best off-roader, and it looks fugly.

- Different Universes are the biggest load of bullsh*t I have ever heard.

i know right.

R* must be laughing their ass's off at the people that eat that sh*t up.

If different universes aren´t a thing, then why does Liberty City in GTA IV look completely different from the LC in GTA III and LCS. The same with Los Santos in SA and V. Trying to say that different universes don´t exist doesn´t make any sense at all.

Basically, then by that logic, it means that Half Life 1 is in a different universe than Half Life 2, so the stories for both games are completely different and don't connect at all. Same with Hitman, Max Payne, so on and so forth.

HOW'S ANNIE?

The next GTA game should be in San Fierro during the 70's, and go back to the idea of parodying famous movies while also retaining a well-written and original plot.

Yes I keep saying this, and there are even a lot of people who agree with me, but it seems a lot of people aren't big fans of the idea of the past or San Fierro.

1. GTA IV has the maximum number of boring missions and frustrating moments in the series.
2. Niko Bellic has to be the most confusing protagonist in gaming history; ends up with a good legitimate job, but f*ck NO! He wanted to be a criminal, and he picked it ultimately; still whining how he wanted to lead a normal life, complaining every bit of his life; nonsense!
3. Tommy Vercetti has the respect and natural liking that he effortlessly pulls off his role successfully for a video game entertainment. Love you, Tommy! :)
4. GTA SA remains to be the most complete GTA entertainment a fan could ask for; EVER !!

Niko goes to work with Roman at the taxi depot, and ends up getting involved with Vlad and those 3 dudes I don't know the name of now, I think one was Bledar? So he kills the 3 thugs. Then, since he's involved with Vlad, he does missions for him. Vlad starts f*cking Mallorie and Roman gets pissed, so Niko kills him. Vlad was working with Faustin and Rascalov, so they kidnap him. They end up working for them and Rascalov wants Faustin dead. Faustin gets killed, and Rascalov betrays Niko. So on and so forth.

Come on, man. I like your Vito pic

Anyways...

Unpopular opinions of the Unpopular Opinions Thread
-SA was good
-The friends in IV WERE annoying, considering they would constantly invite you to an activity, even during a mission, and if you were to decline, the like meter for that friend would go down, even though if you were to accept then cancel, they would be fine with it?
-Michael was a complete cliche
-Oh come on, Claude wasn't THAT bad
-Hydraulic/dancing missions were just a slowed down QTE. Sure, they sucked but they were easy, and there is no reason anyone could fail at them unless you are under 5 years old, or have some sort of severe mental issue.
-GTA IV cheating with the phone was a little easy, but it was better than having to press 15 buttons in an exact order with no f*ck-ups just to get a car to escape from a risky police shootout. Especially GTA V's cheat system where you have to be in a SPECIFIC place to spawn something, whereas in IV you could literally spawn it anywhere.
-GTA V's soundtrack was even worse than IV's. Simply because of the lack of songs on a radio station, the mediocrity of the songs, and the abundance of sh*tty stations, including ones that could have easily merged with another station.
-GTA V after the story was absolutely boring. Hell even the story is getting boring and I only completed it 3 times.
-TV in GTA is a complete waste of time and budget spending. They should have done it like Max Payne 1 and 2 where they show different episodes when you progress in the storyline.
-GTA Online only wasted Singleplayer development time and money. I feel that from the start GTA was a specifically singleplayer game, but I may be wrong.
-V's story was only meh. No more, no less.
-You people need to stop being so hypersensitive about minor things in the GTA series.
-Realism could be implemented in GTA TO AN EXTENT. None of this "needing to fuel your car up" and all this horsecrap.
-No GTA game is anywhere near being the best VIDEO GAME of All Time
-IV's police were the best in the series. V's AI is identical to the one used for the military, which is way unrealistic
-Only kids like the techno/house stations.
-This one isnt an unpopular opinion, but more like one that isn't really brought up. The colour selection screen for cars should have been more like a grid, so it is easier to compare colours.
Fun fact: I knew Brad died at the very first mission on my very first playthrough. Notice how Brad is bleeding from the shot, and Mike isn't. I don't know whether to condemn Rockstar for the story being so easily predicted, or congradulate them for letting people with eyes be able to point important plot details out and use them for future reference, instead of other games where there's obvious bullsh*t that not even the omniscient can point out.
Sorry in advance for posting so much

The calls during missions were only scripted. I thought some of them were hilarious considering they always seem to call at an inappropriate time. Like in Rigged To Blow when Roman rings up to go drinking. The awkwardness lol. I missed that in GTA V.

In V, I even forgot that you could do activities with friends. In IV there was a certain benefit to hanging out. Now, it's just something they tacked-on for sh*ts and giggles.

GTA games shouldn't have multiple endings. It doesn't matter who you choose to kill the story still goes in the same direction. If your decision changed the story significantly, and you got a lot more missions for your choice, then it would be worthwhile. But the way Rockstar chooses to do it doesn't help enhance the story. If it was a free choice you wouldn't have to kill, like there's not enough killing in the game anyway.

And the different universes thing is annoying. That just seems like Rockstar being anti-GTA fans, just a poor excuse to not involve previous GTA protagonists.

No, people like you just use this as a poor excuse to blame Rockstar for not bringing back your 'oh so precious' Tommy and CJ. Rockstar has said again and again that they do it so they can recreate a city closer to its real-life counterpart and not be a stupidly major continuity error. You think that there was really any logical way to explain how much LC had changed between 2001 and 2008 that doesn't sound very very stupid. Obviously you've never written decent fiction in your life.

If Rockstar didn't like giving old protagonists an appearance (which you would be utterly retarded to think they have a major problem with) then we wouldn't have gotten a Johnny K appearance, or mentions of Niko in V.

1. GTA V has the best soundtrack in the series, simply because it has a proper original score.

2. GTA SA is one of the most overrated video games in general. It's fun, but far from a masterpiece. I get worried at the thought that Rockstar might give in to the fanboys and make another GTA game similar to it.

3. Continuing from the above, the storyline is beyond uninteresting.

4. GTA VC's storyline isn't much better, and Tommy Vercetti is a boring protagonist. At least he's voiced by Ray Liotta, but that doesn't make him awesome to me.

5. Victor Vance, Huang Lee and Toni Cipriani are great protagonists.

6. Chinatown Wars is the standard to which a GTA game should be made, in that it has a fun story and fun gameplay. This isn't counting the graphics, of course. :p

7. GTA IV and V were fine additions to the franchise (seems to be a very contested opinion, rather than an unpopular one.)

8. The protagonists of GTA IV and V were all great in their own right.

9. The first 3 games are timeless classics.

10. Multiple protagonists is an awesome addition to the series.

Lock n' Stock

- Probably already mentioned this several times, but CJ is the most overrated protagonist in GTA history. Even Toni, Victor, Luis and Franklin are more tolerable.

- Every GTA is a brilliant game in it's own right.

- Vice City is better than San Andreas. For me, better atmosphere, better soundtrack, better driving, better characters and better story. San Andreas is an overrated piece of sh*te (JK).

- GTA V has a huge amount of flaws, but remains one of my favourite GTAs currently.

- The 2D games are still fun to play.

- GTA Online is well-implemented and fun to play, but vastly overhyped.
