Thank you rockstar for making this game. You saved me $120 by keeping me entertained with this game. I would of got COD ghosts, but GTA 5 came along and saved me $60. Then I said I was going to get Titanfall, but I didn't so that's another $60. I know I am getting WD for sure, but we just have to say thank you rockstar for listening to us and keeping us entertained.

Appreciate them even more by spending your saved money on Cash Cards.

Vice Beach

I think the billion dollars we collectively gave them is thank you enough.

You need to go somewhere quiet, and f*ck yourself.

No, that's your job.

What, you think a GTA fan forum is the right place to praise Rockstar? Are you mad, OP?

I would say 'thank you' if I thought they would say 'you're welcome' back. I don't want to wait ten weeks to get an automated response that they're looking into some unrelated issue. It's all about good manners.

I'm absolutely surprised . A thread I can agree with. I know you have been working hard at winning my approval for some time. Congratulations, you have won it with this post. Don't let it get to your head though. I wouldn't want you to over do it.

And thank you rock star. I will be playing this until gta 6 comes out for xbox one .

I unfortunately disagree

7 months and:

still no heists (may upset some; mildly disappointing to me compared to other things)

still bugs from day 1

wiped my account

missions nerfed beyond belief to the point where the only one worth doing is RR

The way GTA V was advertised was a lot better than the actual game. The videos and trailer promised way more than Rockstar delivered.

Companies have been doing that since forever. Look at fast food advertisement.

In response to you OP: If you want to direct praise properly, tweet some of the devs personal twitter accounts. Contrary to belief devs don't get paid that much, and it's the best way you can direct it where it'll be appreciated, rather than directly to the corporations social media PR team or randomly to GTA fans here.

No, they should be thanking us for giving them $60 for an unfinished game.

most of the game companies do this nowadays.

they save lots of money by making the players discover some bugs their testers wouldn't find for a very long time... the majority doesn't complain (from both the gamers' and the companie's sides)

I'm fine with this as long I can enjoy a good game.

Just about everything is overhyped. how companies get those things to sell.

not in the slightest

there wasnt a single lie told by rockstar, every bit of false info was from an indirect source

people are just entitled and expect the world from a game dev even when they probably couldnt develop a 2d game for an iphone let alone a massive sandbox masterpiece

You're right. Most of the things in life are a disappointment to be honest, me and a friend were sat playing GTAO earlier today, we had a talk about ow lucky humans are as a whole. But also, how screwed up we are at the same time. if everyone in the world gave a sh*t, the world would be beyond any vision we have today.

Rant over, I'm feeling philosophical and I'm very high as you can tell..

yeah thanks for hyping up a game and not giving us heists on day one like you promised. thanks for saying coming soon for almost a year on the heists. thanks for the constant freezes and saying its our fault. thanks for promoting people like dom while wiping my bank account for the widespread issue he helped create. thanks for the dlc full of suits one after another. thanks for saying you fixed problems when you really didnt and ended up creating more problems or disabling things without telling us or knowing you did it. thanks for spending $150 million to create the game, getting back well over a billion dollars and its still not enough to satisfy the share holders. thanks for a 24 hour period to make double points and calling it a weekend event.

i still like the game, but im not going to thank them for not being as bad as the other games that were over hyped. they already got my money.
