Does anyone else destroy document in RR on purpose if people go Afk

I'm one of those guys who jumps on the ledge and crouches down so I can't be shot or run over while everyone else does the work.

 

 

 

Once someone picks up the document I text them "good boy" while I wait for them to deliver it.

 

 

 

What the hell are you gonna do about it?

Honestly I'm not joccin' anyone hard enough to know if you shoot or not. If you move I assume you are doing what you have to. So if you did that and had no kills I would assume you couldn't shoot. And if I got the text that said "good boy" It would be par for the course as I MORE than not am the first one on the document, and I drive the SAME car that is next to it to Madrazzo's... SO I assume you would be thinking I'm legit for driving whatever vehicle like I stole it, cause I did. Basically if you move, and said "Good Boy" I would assume you're playing.

See with clear communication I respect that. And if someone said to me let's alternate I would. I would catch up on a show or work on rolling joints better, or play a song on my guitar for the player. But if you don't vocalize that you wanna alternate, or that you are going AWAY from CONTROLLER (For the 14 year olds that don't know the origin of AFK, and how it pertains to ONLINE ETIQUETTE) Then you're still bein' an as$ expecting it. This guy has the right attitude to it happening to him. He's getting extra bucks for doin a mission he's not meant to be doing yet. If he doesnt mind picking up the slack for the privilege of playing RR early then that works for me lol

You're the dumb bunny. If you look like you are participating that is good enough for me, and most players. It's when we FIND out your aren't that ship is sunk. I clearly said that. You're the dummy with Yeezus in his username, and that think I would Jock you enough to watch if you're playing or not. As long as you aren't stone solid at the first 30 seconds of RR, I would NEVER know the difference. And if you send the message, I would feel great. At the very least you are participating and communicating.

If you invite low levels and go AKF you have a right to that - but they don't - that's why I make sure they don't get paid either. The least they can do is kill a couple of guys then hang back if they want while some other guys.

I seem to be doing it more often - I always host so I can kick if we end up on the mission screen - Why should we do all the shooting while 1 guy just stays there to get paid. Another thing that bothers me if the other players don't even kick. I have like $11 million but just grinding some extra cash for future DLC just to make sure I have enough - I send them a message saying I'll destroy it if they don't help then do if they still don't move.

 

 

I've notice a few post from you always come out soooo mad about the stupidest things.

 

Yes.. AFK players moooching is annoying. But RR is f*ckin easy. Infact in AA its so easy i can clear the garage blind folded in seconds.

 

I personally don't need anyones help with that mission. Even in Free Aim its easy, it only takes a few clips at the most then the drive is just relaxing.

 

Why waste your own time blowing up the document, wasting an explosive.? You like loading screens? Finish it and either leave or kick the player.

AFK means Away From Keyboard, period. Although I don't think many people on GTA Online play with a keyboard.. anyway, if someone is away from their controller on RR I go and pistol-whip the enemies so I don't waste any ammo, then I go and complete the mission. I don't want to waste any unnecessary time or ammo/money in-game.

Get documents -> shoot grangers -> drive off around the map until the others notice I haven't completed the mission yet and either message me or come after me. Only had to do this twice, once where all 3 other players went AFK, and another time where there were only 2 of us and the other guy immediately blew up my PV while I shot up the garage.

I really don't mind people not participating, I just carry on with the mission since I'm still getting paid. I just won't invite them to the next round.

 

I'd rather have afk players than people who suck at the mission any day.

I destroy the documents if other players are being stupid - i.e. start shooting as soon as they spawn thus getting themselves killed and getting everyone else shot to pieces as the try to get to the mission. Either that or I'll just walk/drive off away from the carpark as I just find it physically impossible to do this mission with randoms.

 

Any other mission I'll happily put up with randoms but not RR just purely because of the behaviour displayed by other players in this mission. I can do the whole mission and it'll cost me $120 in ammo and $400 (or is it $500) in armour yet other players go nuts with the mini-gun or RPG's and wonder why they're broke. Just annoys the sh*t out of me.

You're being hypocrite by doing so. And Besides, its obvious that the only reason you're doing that mission is for the sake of farming money and RP. The only one who you're punishing is yourself by destroying the documents. In a mission that you can easily do by yourself, whats the point? tbh, if i were actually playing the mission instead of going afk like i usually do, then i would rather deal with afk players than the ones who spam explosives.

If i have a friend on i just tell him to vote to kick the guy. Never had it happen in RR but it did happen in Del Perro Peir Survival yesterday. He got kicked by us on the second wave. If i dont have a friend on i get the docs and go to the Stirp Club, for a drive, leave or destroy the docs.

I believe it's a little inconsiderate but stuff like this is what drives hatred and all this negativity in the world. Sometimes, you just need to suck it up and deal with it. Being nice to those who aren't isn't a hard thing and is what defines you as a "good person". I like being nice and doing things for others. So long as they aren't killing be after I just helped them get a free 18,750$, then I have no problem with them. Just learn to be a little nice and trip off of the little things. Don't go getting upset and killing them just because they are lazy. There are plenty of other ways to drive motives. Why not let the NPC kill them instead? Just grab the document and lead the guys in the tuck toward the AFK people then drive off and they'll kill the AFK people then disappear.

You can wipe out half the garage with the heavy sniper before anyone moves from the spawn point. No need to wait.

 

We use a bullet proof car now anyway, too lazy to walk in.

As well as being a waste of your time, it's also pretty selfish of you to screw it up for the other two people in the mission just because one guy is being lazy.
