Does anyone else destroy document in RR on purpose if people go Afk

Well, I can understand the frustration involved with randoms not helping, but at the same time, destroy the document? Isn't that like cutting off your nose to spite your face? Yeah, they won't get paid, but neither will you. If I start a mission, I want to see it through until the end. To intentionally cause a mission fail seems to defeat the purpose, unless that purpose is to troll that is, but that is a completely different matter all together.

Sometimes i do it even when they aren't AFK but i don't destroy them.

 

I make sure my car is locked so when i grab em only i am able to get into my car then i got and get in a helo and fly up to sandy shores and go into the train tunnel that goes into the side of the mountains then i kill myself leaving the package there for them to go and get it

Same. I get plenty of AFK randoms. If it were a competitive game mode then I can understand getting annoyed, but it's Rooftop Rumble lol

The only mission going AFK is acceptable on is RR. It's solely there for quick money. Who gives a rats ass if someone isn't "contributing" to that joke of a mission. When I host RR and someone is going AFK I couldn't care less.

afk players on rr is a non issue - it's on survivals where it becomes an issue when you're the one doing all the work and unloading thousands of $$$$ of ammo.

Same if you're dead and you back out using B/Circle, you don't get a warning message.

Why play a mission to be afk? Sit and wait is more boring than doing anything.I don't even care if someone sits through one (I will run over if I have the chance though) but multiple is wrong.

 

I was playing with a couple randoms and we did RR, moved on to another and no movement from one guy, another mission and still no movement, so parking garage came up and we picked. :-) I know other guy was thinking same. Kill. Funny thing is we got on a team and when mission started he moved. He was 150 or so and probably figured he could take us. We set up on each side though and killed him 3 times each before he left. We got paid. :-)

You can go AFK then... That is perfectly okay. But if one of the super magnet trucks manages to pull it's desperation move (You would know the move if you drive plenty without taking out the four trucks...) and you aren't moving towards the Doc... I'll leave the room.

They were level 10. Surely you didn't expect too much help from them. They had crap guns, no armor, and likely no money for ammo. They were most likely hoping you would finish for them so they could get some money and RP to get some of this stuff. I help lower levels all the time, sure, from time to time it bites me in the a$$ when you run across the odd troll. But for the most part they are grateful for any help I can give them. Remember, we were level 10s once before as well.

But GTA Online is super serious and you have to always play it 100% of the time and if you're not putting in at least 12+ hours a day, you are as worst as DomIsLive. /s

Idling Rooftop Rumble is something everyone does occasionally. Why would you penalize yourself because someone else is lazy?

if you just stand there i run you over until we are out of team lives. i stay behind just to walk into the circle and quick start the mission but i still help them get the document.

 

i love it when the player starts moving to avoid being run down but the dummy pulls out an explosive and kills himself trying to blow me up. you cant kill other players by shooting at them during missions. everyone should know this by now.
