Whilst people that aren't gamers wouldn't appreciate it and I get your joke, it does actually show dedication, intelligence and quick thinking to maintain great stats across call of duty games for example, without cheating of course. Those that compete in teams and do well also show good communication skills and work well as part of a team within their individual roles, all things which any employer would want in an employee.
