Either we all end up dead or the tanker is finally destroyed before reaching the warehouse. The cops just never go the f away. Last night we had an almost perfect run. Took my coquette and chased down the truck, got to it before it reached the power plant, killed the driver and let my passenger take the truck. I used my coquette as a battering ram to slow down the police, as did the other two players. Even after we cleared our wanted levels and were escorting the truck in peace, suddenly there would be a cop on the highway and we would get two stars instantly. The truck took so much gun fire that it exploded at the entrance to The drop off and I about threw my controller out the window. This was our 5th attempt that night. How the HELL do you pass this stupid mission? What is the trick? How do you keep the truck safe and/or avoid the cops? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pop the driver, steal the truck, uturn on the freeway, drove it up into the hills on the west of freeway near casino to lose the cops...casually drove the truck to drop off. Was no issue at all. Then take to the train tracks to escape. Any mission where you are going to be chased, use the train tracks (obviously being aware of any on-coming trains). So I assume that just HAVING the truck counts as a crime, being a stolen vehicle and all. Also, police would still occasionally spot us in the tracks and cause damage with their bullets. Not to mention the f'ing choppers that wouldn't go away. Got instantly killed by one when I tried to get out to snipe him. Their gunner just shot me down before I could even break into a run. am30 Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Just done Ticket to Elysium on hard. Here's what I did: 1. Let the tanker reach the power station (partly 'cos I spawned miles away from where the tanker starts and partly 'cos there's less chance of me blowing the thing up), 2. Don't enter the power station through the main entrance, but cut accross the railway tracks and smash through the fence into the car park and go round the back of the power station to where the tanker is parked, 3. Knock out the driver and grab tanker, 4. The tanker should be facing towards the sea. Drive off and go right towards the car park, 5. Once in the car park, cut diagonally accross (sort of heading south-west) and get onto the railway tracks, 6. Stay on the railway tracks heading south, ignoring the cops. I had one cop car come onto the tracks but just shoved it out the way and carrier on, 7. Once you reach the train tunnel you will loose your 2 stars, 8. Once through the train tunnel, follow the yellow route on the map to the drop-off and you should be $2,250 richer - all profit seeing as not a single shot was fired. Hope this helps.
