How will you handle the madness?

Everyone is anxiously waiting for this Tuesday, when we finally get that second property and can expand our car collection. Personally I always play in public lobbies (never do invite only cause I don't have many friends that play at same time of day and I don't like playing alone), but public lobbies are going to be a huge clusterf*ck come Tuesday with everyone driving cars from one garage to another, lining up outside lsc to mod their new cars, searching the streets for cars they want to find. It's gonna be so nuts that invite only is the only way to go IMO. What is everyone else doing? Do you think the cloud servers can handle that many invite only sessions? Are you gonna be waiting outside the new apts, lsc specifically to troll people? If you see another playing driving a car you want are you going to try to jack it from them? (assuming they haven't made it to lsc/garage yet) Discuss

The LSC I go to doesn't have many people by it. It's always the one by the Eclipse.

Killing people thats how and i figure it will also be some kind of event weekend too which will have players camping for crate drops which will lead to chaos...its going to be good

I do admit, I will be managing my cars yet what I definitely see coming is an uprise of tank griefers.

It is gonna be risky and busier than normal but hey, I like the danger, its fun. Will be very frustrating if I find one of the rarer cars that I'm looking forward to owning again then it gets blown up or stolen, I'd be a fool not to expect that to happen in GTA though, its why I play.

I'm surprised there isn't the usual threads about how the only thing we will see is chrome versions of the new vehicles.

I'm gona have a lot of fun come tuesday and it will be nice to have lobbies full again.

considering i have 4 or 5 cars on my second character already set up for my main character, I'll go into a private lobby and invite a friend and move all of them into LSC while he watches them, and then i'll swap characters and move them into my new garage. that way i won't have to worry about griefers.

Why would I risk driving an uninsured car in a public room?

You just found it and are on your way to lsc to insure it. Unless you're getting all your cars from legendary Motorsport then it's not an issue.

M'eh...it's all part of the game. If you can't handle it, then, yeah, go and hide in your private session. Lots of people do that. I find it more entertaining and fun to finally find the car I was looking for only to have to possibly battle my way to LSC or my garage with it. I like a challenge, I don't like boring lobbies with nothing going on and nothing to worry about. Different strokes....

Because with your amazing K/D ratio, we can tell that you absolutely dominate entire lobbies enough that people vote to kick you.

Because not everyone is a frightened little wuss afraid of losing a car that they found for free on the street or people just have confidence in their driving skills that they'll be able to get whatever car they want to either of their garages or LSC before someone kills them. I mean, how bad are you at driving that you don't think you can do that?

yup. I did it a few weeks ago to move my hearse from player 1 to player 2 so i could put a JB 700 in it's place that i SP->MP'd in. Basically i have 4 non premium cars and an entity i plan to swap over but i may not swap the entity since i may want the zentorno instead. if R* manages to patch the glitch, i'll just find another way to dupe them or make them legit. none of them are anything special other than custom license plates (except for a phoenix which is modded with no spoiler)

 

 

the glitch is pretty easy to do. go into a private session with your friend. Take a car to LSC with him in it and hit the back button on your controller as the door opens and drive into LSC without activating the cut scene. park the car in the paint booth all the way in the back (so you can get as many cars in there at a time as you want, i've seen 5 cars swapped at one time). have your friend stay with the car. Leave LSC and go back to your garage and bring another car. repeat until all of the cars you want moved are inside LSC.

 

With your friend still inside LSC, leave the building and swap characters. have your friend invite you back to the session. Once back into the session, take a car from your garage you want to replace (rusty rebel off SM for $3k if you want to be able to sell a premium car later) and take it to LSC. do the back button glitch to get into the building like you did before and park the truck on the far left in the back so it's out of the way. Grab one of your PV's and take it to your garage. you'll be able to drive it right in, even if it's a premium car. Take another rebel back to LSC and repeat the process until you've moved all your cars.

They're saying it's always the one by eclipse that has hordes of ppl by it. They use a different one. I know, I thought the same thing until I re-read it
