Salute/Bro Love= Universal "I come in peace" signal

Finger= Use to let the griefers, twankers and general idiots know what you think of them.

Blow Kiss= Use to f*ck with a 12 year boy's head.

Jerk Off= Used by 12 year old boys...or emasculated, socially inept, sexual frustrated men.

Nope.

I don't taunt people who lose against me online. I salute them instead.

I did not pay good money for your company, I paid it so I could profit from your deaths! And just as your mother was there at your beginning, so I shall be there at your end. And when you die — and die you shall — your transition will be to the sound of … [claps his hands] Gladiators, I salute you.

Sorry, I had to do it. LOL

Black Rabbit

It's pretty juvenile, yes....BUT, was in a TDM the other day with 6 people on our team. One guy started thrusting...then another...then another...then we were all doing it. f*cking hilarious.

I remember back in original San Andreas, the emotes were also verbal and you could instantly choose either negative or positive.

"Is Air Thrusting the best taunt R* ever created?"

It's what I use.

It reminds me of Beavis and Butthead dancing to some rock music video.

I think they are all immature and stupid.

Saluting is not immature.

Misanthrope Z

other taunts are better

Crew: Bro love

Crew: Up Yours

Salute

The Bird

Sometimes the jerk is decent (best used when just walking passed someone)

Blow Kiss is funny when you hold it for a long time, cuz it looks like your character is making a gesture like "oh no he di-'int"

Air Thrusting though...just looks like some middleschool pre-teen garbage

Me too. It also makes me think of a running train, like 'the locomotion' dance, except you're not able to do it while running. My funniest GTAV moment ever was 5 or 6 of us all doing it at once on the back of a tractor trailer while the driver brought us around LS to randoms. It was like a parade, and I nearly died laughing. :p

No, The Original and The Best will always be the one, the only

The Jerk

Personally I use Crew: Bro Love, but Air Thrusting would be my second choice.

You don't have to be immature to like jokes about sex. In fact I'd say you come off as immature for trying too hard to seem mature by claiming sex references are immature.

Dat sentence...

How can I keep spamming a taunt? Like keep going with the jerk for example?

Yeah, air thrusting is pretty much the best ever taunt re: GTA.

This juvenile sh*t is probably the most embarrassing aspect of GTAO and I cringe every time they happen when non-gamer acquaintances are around to witness them.

Easily these stupid taunts are the least useful and pointless addition to the game and a waste of valuable animator talent. The fact more get added while real work needs to get done on the game is shameful.

If your idea of personal expression is air-jacking it at a stranger on the internet I have no words.

I salute and do bro love, but the dance at the end of a match when you select Air thrust is too funny.

Yeah, it's juvenile, but when there's 6 characters on the screen all doing the air thrust dance it's too funny.

(I usually use it and the bird when I'm playing with kids)

Is this The Guy?

I air thrust violently, sometimes a little too much.

There are times that I air thrust so much that my thumbs become sore.

I think R* should add a "remove stick from ass" action. Some of the people in this thread need it...

Air Thrust and Dock are the best actions when you won something. LOL at the female face when doing Air Thrust.

The damn shame is, it suits GTA0 perfectly. The online game is a lost cause, an air-headed twitch shooter for brats with guns, when it could have been so much more, with that beautiful virtual world.

Someone is reading far too much into a taunt in a video game like GTA.

air thrusting maybe was funny for one two times in some circumstances but since then when everybody everywhere now is doing this it just looks sooooo gayyyy

I like the smoke action. Its a more subtle form of taunting. Its like saying "I'm bored with you" or just plain unimpressed.

The Angel King

I use the "jerk" motion, but my character is a female so I find it somewhat amusing. While I will admit it may be childish, it does get some laughs.

For those claiming it's childish don't forget the first game had a FART, and BURP button. And EVERYONE LOVES FART AND BURP JOKES!!

But back on topic. The air thrusting when the race or DM is won is great, because the avatar is shaking his head like, "You like that? Huh? You like that? You're a dirty girl? Oh yeah!?"

Then he throws the kitty in the air and slams it back down one more time and lets his arms explode out to SHOW you he busted it up!

And kinda looks around dumbfounded satisfied with himself like an arrogant jerk.

It's perfect. Many of you don't even know who ate all the pies...

This is why I do the salute, or bro love. To change it up. But occasionally I wanna show them how I stroke.
