Not sure if this has been answered before but what is the meaning behind RR name? It takes place on the ground level of a parking garage. Was it originally suppose to take place on a roof? Any mature response is appreciated.

It was meant to be on the roof but the guys you steal the documents from all suffered from Vertigo so Rockstar moved it to ground level.

oh I get it now, rooftop rumble because its high up, wait theirs another mission where you have to climb a roof and fight off the guys, grab the chopper and deliver to Lester warehouse, that should be called rooftop rumble, high priory case should be called under construction or something

wish it was on the roof, it would make it difficult for players to get and the 18k would be worth it and less ppl would play RR

true, that's why missions haven't been tested and looked on with the pay out how the EFF can lost connection be 13k why RR be 18k. and why is survival give u 20k should be 35k for how long you play. or how quickly u finish

Nope, never been answered before and I think you're the first to notice this. I just thought the whole of Los Santos was on the roof of some giant building.

 

OT - the search bar works! Maybe not super well but google + GTA forums works great!

The original incarnation of Rooftop Rumble was actually on the roof. I've actually played the original once when the Cloud servers were down. No idea why they changed it.
