Alvarez
...If for example Weston actually paid you for the cars or Haines acted not like a douchebag (for a while), for example while telling Franklin what Trevor did to Floyd and Debra? You are kinda coaxed into Option C, because both A and B makes you Haines' or Westons bitch, apart from the whole guilt issues afterwards. fac316
AdaChanDesu
Why would these characters need to be killed or wanted to kill M&T if they didn't act like total dicks to the protags? There would be no choice regarding the ending in that case. But hell, I'd still do it as to answer your question - for M&T's sake. theGTAking101
Turkish Turketarian
I will always pick C. Why? Because I want all of my side missions...
OGLuke
which letter choice is killing trevor for killing bad ass biker bro? I like trevor but throwing him into traffic setting him on fire letting him get eaten by sharks is such a rush of payback adrenaline best i ever felt Edited May 9, 2014 by mr. libs
Trevorphilipjfry
Yeah the main reason for not killing one of the characters, is you lose their gameplay benefits. Special ability, side missions, dialogue etc.
Pliskin Femto
I'd always pick Deathwish. I like the characters too much, I couldn't possibly kill them after we made history together (the big one). Devin and especially Steve had to learn a lesson.
cp1dell
I will always pick C. Why? Because I want all of my side missions... Huh. This makes me think of that Asked & Answered question Rockstar got about "Which choices in IV are canon?" To which Rockstar basically replied with some ambiguous answer, but mentioned that they do have an outline of choices that deal you the most content that they deem to be the "right ones." I think the same can be said for V.
TheGoodSgtScooter
C. If you play the stocks you end up with 300+ Million dollars. If you got paid for the cars it would be; Z-type - 1M Monroe - 49K Cheetah - 65K Entity - 75K JB-700 - 35K. Using the 10% sell prices and offline buy prices. To which Rockstar basically replied with some ambiguous answer, but mentioned that they do have an outline of choices that deal you the most content that they deem to be the "right ones." I think the same can be said for V. Here we go: SPOILER ALERT - “Kill or spare Ivan Bytchkov? Kill or spare Cherise Glover? Kill Playboy X or Dwayne Forge? Kill or spare Clarance Little? Kill Francis McReary or Derrick McReary? Kill or spare Darko Brevic? Take the deal or get revenge? I know what I'd do but I wanna know what [Niko] would do. You designed him so you know him better than I do.” – Mike Sean Clifton That’s a very interesting question. The choices that you make in Grand Theft Auto IV while in the shoes of Niko Bellic are completely down to personal preference. Your conscience and curiosity help Niko to make decisions throughout the game, so we really don’t have a straight and true path for how the Niko ‘character’ would react in life or death situations – it’s all down to the individual who plays him, and our hope was to have a fairly even split in all of the choices, so they seemed like real dilemmas. In terms of outcomes (something Niko would not know at the time) there is a ‘best pathway’ which is the sort of thing we reveal when we do a tips post, but that is from a pure game design / mechanics perspective as some choices give you more advantages than others, not from the choices Niko might make at the time. Those are up to you. Asked & Answered: Max Payne 3 and Grand Theft Auto V
tomuk3
I would of always went C due to wanting to play as all characters. If there was no C? Then it would of been interesting.

LeoV
Hell yeah. Option C not only is obviously canon, but the best ending as well. A and B are the same thing just reskined and changed a bit. A-car chase crash end. B car chase crash..chase a lil bit. End. Option C? Bad ass movie show down, kill all the "villains" of the game, badass murder of Devin. Great ending for all 3 characters. Only unique ending. Great ending song. Great closure overall. Honestly the same can't be said for the other endings. Also for a game with "Hollywood movie" style of a storyline, well a Hollywood movie ending is the only one that fits. FreshPots

I will pwn you newbs
I thought you were gonna say if death wish kills Franklin. If that was the case I'd kill Trevor without hesitation.

cp1dell
Why do some people have this strange attachment to Franklin? I'm not saying he's a sh*tty protagonist, but he was so underdeveloped compared to Michael and Trevor. He practically got dropped halfway through the story. He could have been an NPC and things wouldn't be that different; apart from the few missions he has in the beginning, and the assassination missions that are unrelated to the story.
