Pink slips in GTA

Non-contact is 100% required in pink slips,catchup:off,splitstream off and traffics on.And after you waged your car,the game saves and turning off the console won't work,you still lose your car.

 

I would definitely imagine the moment a squeker cries when i took his chradder and sold it at lsc.The satisfaction and tears...mmmh.

Pink slips wouldn't work in this game because of how the car ownership system works.

Back on topic: I would really like to have something like a pink slip for personal vehicles in the game. But not necessarily for racing! A pink slip is a document entitling the owner of that document to ownership of a specified vehicle.

 

If we had pink slips on our cars, we could sell them (at a price defined by Rockstar) or trade them with other players. Thus, one could actually buy a secondhand car from another player, and then maybe make more from the sale than you would selling it to LS Customs. Win - win, as both the seller and the buyer would come out better. And thus, a player with a low level could spend money buying a fully upgraded car from another, for instance by purchasing a cash card.. And so Rockstars interests are looked after too.

 

Also, for stolen personal vehicles, you would have no pink slip, and then have to sell it to Simeon for a much lower price. It would still be your personal vehicle, though, and you'd still be able to sell it to another player, but again, the price would be lower as you paid nothing for it.

 

Waht do you guys think? Would you like a system like this?

In addition to this, they could add nitrous specifically only to these pink slip drag races. It would then maybe involve timing to determine the winner of such a race.

Nos would be unbalanced.But i agree those races needed to be held at a place where real skill is actually required,like Nurburgring,Laguna Seca or a Rockstar created pink slip race.

for some of you that don't know what it is, its when you race for another person car, pink slips would be cool in gta but there are many problems with it like the trolls, they would play, if they win the keep your car if they lose they would simply turn of their console to avoid giving you their car.

 

is their away R* could stop this from happening like not allowing you to turn of the console or once you lose you it gives the car straight away even though some trolls would turn their console of just before they lose.

Shouldn't be too hard. If you disconnect, you loose the race.

 

Then again these servers are legendary for their freezes so Rockstar needs to fix that first.

Riots broke out and all kinds of sh*t went down because of it (the rioting in San Andreas was inspired by these events). So, I'm going to take my Entity, which is like half a day worth of Rooftop Rumble and potentially lose it in a couple of minutes because I had an off day? Uh, no thanks. If I win, what if my garage/s are full?

 

I don't think it works.

 

I do like the idea of buying/selling/trading cars with other players. I think what would be interesting is if LSC stopped buying super cars and players would have to let the "market price" determine what they get from other players. Probably wouldn't work, not saying it's a great idea, but I do think it would be interesting to see how things would go where if we wanted to sell a car, it would come down to what other players are willing to pay (and you would wait for a better offer if you wanted.) Maybe you'd get a really good deal if someone wanted the money then and there. Who knows.

On one hand, it's a cool idea. On the other hand, I'd never do it. Like another poster said, I don't want to risk my Entity just to win yours, which is exactly the same as mine only with a different paint job.

 

Now if there were ultra rare cars that you can only get from trading with other players, that might be different. I might risk my rare sports car for a diffrent rare sports car.

Pink slips aren't supposed to be easy.Throw the two of the players in Nurburgring and you get a fair race.

If it was a option in the game I wouldn't use it. Why spend all that money on updating my cars if I then have a chance to lose them in a race that may be unfair for a number of reasons. I'm not saying R* shouldn't put it in the game as people would use the option but I personally wouldn't.

Don't really see why it couldn't happen. Just have it as an option like betting who's going to win.

Risk losing your car to the winner or not, regardless of race settings like collision.

 

As long as it's not forced, you can't really argue against it. You then don't HAVE to lose your vehicle, but you can choose to risk it.

 

Trolls are no argument, if you don't trust people to play fair, don't bet (your car).

Races take skill, but if you use the fastest car and you're skilled then you usually come out on top unless you crash by a fluke. I've done a long race with 10 racers, I was using a stock turismo since the new update came out. Everyone had there maxed out XF, cheetah, adder, and the turismo. I won. You know why because I knew how to drive and focused on the turns. One guy came neck and neck with me and I was trying to not let him pass but he did, he ended up crashing later allowing me to get that lead and win. This was with Apex Stalkers

Ye true which would win in a race an adder or a turismo. The adder is way faster. I was playing long haul 2 amd this guy chose adder i chose turismo. At first he was beating me then he crahed at one point. But everytime he crahed and i overtoke him he would catch up. My driving skills made me win. After i won i sent a msg to him saying i won agai.st ur cradder and he replies can we do Rooftop rumble so i say yes and now hes one of my best buds on GTA
