xXRobbie98Xx Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Hey guys so this is sort of a wee rant I'm doing about GTA Online. I love the game to bits, in fact it is probably my favourite game! Although there are some major issues with the game and I thought I'd share them with you and if you agree or have more issues/problems please comment! 1) Money Payouts. Ok so this has been one of the most annoying things about GTA Online so far! I have found myself winning 8 player races and literally earning about $150!? I've completed extremely hard and frustrating missions only to earn about $3000!? I mean come on Rockstar! This is why people hacked! I honestly don't see how you can make decent money in GTA Online. It just doesn't seem possible to make any money. The most I've ever been paid was like $20,000 and that was for a massive and frankly boring 10 wave survival. I would expect to earn at least $40,000 for that. So yeah to sum it up Rockstar might as well pay us in peanuts. 2)Passive Mode. Ok so passive mode doesn't even work! It's only good for stoping you from getting shot on foot. Obviously Rockstar reckons getting shot is the only way people kill each other? Wrong. You can still be shot in your car, you can still be ran over and die. Seriously Rockstar fix passive mode NOW! 3) The Police. Ok so this counts for the single player campaign as well. So I don't know if you've noticed, but the police in GTA V are far to aggressive. I've found myself driving along peacefully when suddenly a police car comes flying around the corner(chasing another helpless player) and crashes straight into me! I of coarse get the blame and boom, there's 1 star. I'll then drive away and "Fail to Comply" and then what do you know? 2 stars. At this point I am being chased by 4 patrol cars. Then it goes on and on until eventually I have 4-5 stars and I either get shot or by some miracle I escape. That leads me to the next thing I hate about the police. It's impossible to escape from them. If I commit a minor crime in Blaine County and quickly drive/fly to Los Santos and hide in an ally way the police still find me. It's like they know what ally way I have gone down or somehow by luck they think "Okay let's just randomly check this 1 out of 1000 possible ally ways". It also takes forever for a 1 star wanted level to disappear. In my opinion, I think the police should be taken out go GTA online free-roam. If me and my mates are having a wee battle the police suddenly turn up and shoot everyone? "Excuse me can you piss off please because you are unwanted here"' is what I'd say to them. They honestly just spoil the experience and just tag along. So yeah these are SOME of the things I hate about GTA Online. What do you think? Midnght Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Unless it got changed. I'm told by a friend who plays this on xbox passive is protected in everything including getting run over by cars. Yeah passive probably should be all encompassing. But I dunno. I like the limited passive mode. It's a challenge and I get load of fun from it because I know how it works and doesn't and when idiots try to kill me who don't know I just laugh my ass off. I agree 100%. This is GTA Online. It is supposed to be set in a city of corruption, no laws, no police and just 16 criminals causing havoc with no boundaries. Gunning down npcs gets boring. I've been racing for a while and never ONCE seen 1st place pay out $150. Average pay out for an average 4 minute race is like $10k....sometimes more. Also, whoever said blind eye was worth it, didnt read the post they quoted.............read more, post less.............if your speeding down the street and a cop pulls a u turn in front of you.......you dont exaclty have time to call lester......do you? I cant..... And if youve just had lester remove youre wanted level a minute ago, youre out a luck, you have to deal w it. Minor incovenience, but obviously people think R* couldve handled it better.
