xXRobbie98Xx
Okay so nearly every garage I've been in has horrible looking cars. The average; a blue super car(Adder) with red 'Low Rider-Flare' wheels. Usually the car also has white wall tires and a musical horn. So why does everyone like the look of this crap? BEES0FTHeMIND
Wombater
Personally, IMO, they have absolutely no taste at all. They probably just like the white-walls. DriveLikeAViking
chainsoar
Whitewalls on sports bikes, too. Every time I see a Bati 801 (motorcycle of choice for the "I don't actually give a sh*t about bikes but OMG FAST LOL" crowd) with whitewall tires, I die a little inside. Then they die a lot outside. Looks like all their ( possibly hacked ) millions can't buy them a decent sense of style. Apparently, Chrome - DA BEST and also, White-walls - ALSO DA BEST. ashbashbluesfan
I don't use Lowrider wheels on anything other than vehicles that have them as their stock wheels, however I do use custom tires on bikes because I feel that custom tires are better than stock. Kampioen
I don't like it either, but I can appreciate the fact that it's unconventional. I like it more when people try to do something creative (however horrible the outcome is) than when people try to recreate the real life version of a car. There's zero creativity in that, just pick whatever most closely resembles the real thing.

Commander S
I can sort of understand whitewalls on something like a Bati with a matching white secondary stripe - go for carbon black (or whatever matches the tyre rubber) for the primary, and some solid matching black rims, and you've got a very striking monochrome, almost 'modern spin on art deco' look. But that's the exception that proves the rule... In response to the OP, though, I get the impression that some folk really don't design their rides with any unifying 'look' - they'll take individual elements that look 'cool' (or are the most expensive/hardest to unlock - chrome, certain rims and paints, etc.), and slap together, regardless of the end result. Which is ...fine, I guess - if you're desperate for your PVs to serve as driveable 'scorecards', showing your progress, then knock yourselves out (although most folk would probably get a better idea simply by looking at your rank or stats...). But I personally have more time, respect and appreciation for people who've clearly customised their PVs with a clear, unified design concept - be it a movie car homage, recreation of a real-life car, or even just a signature design motif. In short, the best cars (IMO) are the ones where the end result is truly the sum of the individual parts - as opposed to being undermined by conflicting stylistic choices. Wombater
Even though people's garages are their own business, the question was *why*, not *they shouldn't*. xXRobbie98Xx
backward_axis
Even though people's garages are their own business, the question was *why*, not *they shouldn't*.Why? Because the differences in the wheel choices are solely aesthetic and people have differing tastes in what constitutes "nice". They aren't real -the cars, nor the tires, nor my concern as to what they do with either of them. Final answer: Different strokes, different folks.
