One that a year ago would say, you only have white letters on your tyres on a 70s muscle car. You only have white walls on a 50s classic. You never put rims with a diameter more than 15 inch on a muscle car.

 

You know what, some of the cars I see the modern kid put together are against all old time wisdom and sometimes they look great. GTA V is going to redifine the car world not many years from now. I hope everyone is ready.

Just because it came from the factory like that doesn't make it any less stupid looking. The Pontiac Aztek came from the factory as ugly as it did, just because it's "legit" doesn't mean it isn't ugly.

Years ago I would have agreed with you, but the pro touring movement has changed my mind on that.

 

 

They aren't for show, and they don't go with bling-y heavy wheels. You have to run bigger wheels to clear bigger brakes, and the shorter sidewall on the tires means less tire deformation under load and better responsiveness. They look rather purposeful I think.

 

I used to have all my muscle cars done up classic style, but recently I changed my Sabre Turbo and Vigero over to the pro touring look, and I quite like them like that.

Well, the problem is - it's a supercar, not a 16-wheeler. It sounds REALLY weird, especially when you go to online, someone pulls up to you in a Dinka Jester, and their horn is a truck - which makes my mind go crazy. Sure, it's loud, but it's just plain weird. I would just keep the stock horn.

Aztec and Chrysler TC were NEVER legit. Harlequin Golf is legit due to it's uniqueness. Even Walt White owned an AZTEK....

Okay so nearly every garage I've been in has horrible looking cars. The average; a blue super car(Adder) with red 'Low Rider-Flare' wheels. Usually the car also has white wall tires and a musical horn. So why does everyone like the look of this crap?

EVERY OTHER GARAGE IS UGLY EXCEPT FOR MINE!!!!!! MY CARS ARE THE ONLY GOOD LOOKING CARS, EVERYONE ELSE'S CARS ARE CRAP, BUT MINE ARE AWESOME.

Do you realise how retarded your complaint seem? Let people put whatever the f*ck wheels and colour they want on their cars, then you can customize yours as YOU prefer. That's kinda the idea of customization. You don't have to like their customizations, but don't start whining about how they customize them... Me, I try to focus on what I think looks good myself, and don't really care one way or the other what other people think about my cars. I agree that it's idiotic when everyone buys an adder, chromes it up and puts the same horn and wheels on. Not because it's idiotic to customize your car like that, but 90% of those people are doing it because someone else did it, not because they themselves arrived at the conclusion it looked cool.

 

And that's the same reason I find this thread retarded, you seem like you're no better, like you want the exact same mass-mentality, just with different rims and a different colour. Do your cars up the way you want them, but don't start complaining that others don't do them the same...
