Best use of the airstrike I've ever seen..

Wouldn't it better if you could use a laser designator?......riflelike to hold but would pin-point the target from a maximum distance of 300m or so?

How come when WE fly the jets, we don't get air strikes... Lame

 

Cool feature but.. This would be one of the only sceneries to use an air strike.

If you throw a flair at a personal vehicle and then leave the session, would you still have to play for the insurance? If you don't have to it would be worth spending $8000 if you can destroy multiple vehicles at once.

There was a tank and about 3 of his buddies on the roof of a parking garage. I drove underneath, got out, walked under their blips and called in an airstrike.

 

Killed everyone but the tank, but he was smoking afterward.

I did one where there was a bounty and some wannabe body guards with him defending him with snipers on the very top of the construction building, I got tired of waiting so I went into the middle and threw the flare and the airstrike killed them all haha

On a tank

yeah...tanks tend to move though don't they, that's the problem you've got there

 

Go Off Radar, steal a civilian car and approach the Tank slowly.

 

As you're near and still in the car, call for an Airstrike.

 

Hold down to throw and don't let go. At the end the player will automatically throw the flare out of his window, make sure it's aimed at the tank.

 

If you hit the tank, the flare will stick to it like glue and even if he's moving, the Air Strike missiles will actually follow him during the strike.

no you've got it wrong, the flare doesn't stick to anything it just bounces off, I know this because I just tried it.

If you're in a jet, and your friend calls an airstrike, can you shoot down the airplanes that did the airstrike?

according to my other post that was answered the strike will land where the flare was dropped, it will not move along with the flare.
