So why'd you draw a red dick on it?

Edit: your gta snapshot reminds me of Pianta Village's view of Delfino.

If your dick looks like that you need to see a doctor.

Ahh Killzone, don't go changing. Your paint skills are almost as good as mine.

I'll be back in a bit with a serious answer hopefully.

Why do I get the feeling Superbad wasn't lying or exaggerating when they mentioned Jonah Hill's fascination that many boys have with dicks...

Not this dude fortunately.

Tried to think of a serious answer but couldn't come up with anything other than:

Grand Theft Auto V reminds me a lot of San Andreas

Or L.A. Noire.

Yes I considered that aswell, but if you compare the view from Chiliad of Paleto to the view of Angel Pine from ye olde Chiliad it seems to line up better in my opinion. The Sawmill in Angel Pine only adds weight to this comparison. These are just "presumptions" i make to feel more at home

Wow, this thread sure went to hell in a hurry. Too bad, it's a very worth topic of discussion.

On Topic: Sometimes when I am driving or viewing a scene in GTAV, just for fun, I imagine if I was in that situation in a different past game I have played, and suddenly it gives me a weird, deep sense of displacement, a sense of wonder of how far we have come,of what it would be like if that old game actually was like this open world GTAV, and some time-displaced sense of prescience of what that game could have been, or what is was in someone's imagination who designed it. Mostly it's racing games, including Test Drive Unlimited 2. It's a weird feeling,

EDIT: Try it sometime - while you are in GTAV, choose to imagine that it is some familiar past game you are in. Strangeness will happen. :^:

EDIT: What OriginalCharacter said above. :colgate:

I know exactly what you mean! Ive had Road Rash flashbacks before , its crazy to think how far games have advanced.

The airport reminds me of Saints Row:The Third's airport as both are useless. GTA IV & Saints Row 2 had jumps and it was a great place to hang out and take on the cops. In GTA V & SR3, they're just there to get a helicopter or plane or even lay low when you got a bounty. I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of jumps the airport has.

At night while racing down Vinewood Hills (near the Vinewood sign where all the mansions are) reminds me about Need For Speed:Carbon a lot. Also, Mt.Chiliad reminds me of San Andreas if I look out from it at the right angle. It's weird how games built from the ground up can be so alike.

A spot in La Mesa reminds me of Southern Switch race in IV; there's a highway, don't remember where, that always reminds me of the highway passing the BurgerShot on the way into the LC airport in 4. Zancudo reminds me of FarCry 3.

Nice thread killzone. You made me REALLY nostalgic for Super Mario Sunshine. Really cool find.

I'll come back later and edit this to hopefully have some more contributions.
