Boombox idea

Yeah, I'd use it for the crew "Yacht" parties we have sometimes.

 

Although maybe make the speakers modification in the back of the Cavalcade useful and use that at the park or at a car show to play music, would be a better and more possible idea for GTA

On XBOX you can just use your XBOX music player and play whatever music you want all the time.

 

But.... if we do get a boombox, then we need the added player action of break dancing to go with it.

I thought there are two seperate department working at Rockstar.A content creating team and a problem fixing team.So adding doesn't mean it would delay patches and fixes.

So you want less features in a GTA game... GTA was made on a bunch of features. I bet if you made a GTA game, you would have one character, one gun, one car. No fun.you are the one who wants to suck out all of the fun out of the game.

It sounds like it would be fun - which means it's a terrible idea. You and your homies will be break dancing in front of the Maze Bank for about 10 minutes before someone plows their chrome Adder into your hootenanny and runs over you and your boom box. The last thing you hear will be Peter Cetera singing "Oooooh no baby please don't goooooooo!" on their car radio.

Because R* can't do two things at once... Sit through the credits and tell me that they can't patch glitches and create new content.

I get the idea of this and I think it would be cool if it was done in a more modern way. Little features just as this make a game neat. I would sure use it once in a while in situations similar to what you originally stated. However, I don't think it will ever become a reality, but who am I to say what will and won't happen?

Using the phone as a radio for Biking/walking would be great.

also paying music from a storage device would be cool.

in PC gta's, there were radio stations dedicated to this. the one in IV would also play commercials like the regular stations

As noted above, there are boomboxes in the game, often seen at the beach at night. I wouldn't be against having this feature, but for me it would really have to be something different than just the radio - maybe uploaded music, etc. Heck, if people were aspiring musicians they could put on a concert through the radio for other people in the lobby. For those who think a concert or something couldn't happen in the middle of GTA, "This Spartan Life" often did interviews in the middle of "Halo" multiplayer. I've often thought the outdoor theater could be a "safe zone" and have concerts.

There is this one basketball court where a boombox plays music from radio los santos. I think it would be cool if R* added a feature where you can place a boombox down on the ground wherever you are. Then you and your homies can ride up the BMX ramps listening to West Coast Classics. Anyone else think this would be a cool feature to add in?

Well, technically you can modify your sound system, but it is purely aesthetic, and only limited to one car.

We already have headphones as clothing items - and all characters have smartphones by default. So...

...allow players to access the radio stations if they've equipped headphones - simple!

Wouldn't even need to add new buttons or anything to the iFruit interface - just make it the same as being in a vehicle, as soon as you pop headphones on. Everything needed currently exists in-game - just need to graft the functionality to those items (which are even grouped separately from other headgear in the Inventory menu).

Those poll choices are kinda screwy but I agree with them. Even if you don't care about a feature why would you not want others to have it? Please, no replies about how it takes up development time or how it may blot out the potential of other dlcs.
