mareepx Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Hey, does anyone know how exactly catchup works, like when does it kick in, and what exactly does it do to performance of vehicles etc? i'm intrigued because it really annoys when it's on in races and want to know its exact effects. Strikeslip Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 If someone gets a big lead on a long course, with a lot of turns, do you think he gets an extra catchup advantage because his slower top speed helps him to take good corners, while the faster top speed of the people in back promotes more crashes, especially into each other? Vooodu Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Catch up slows down the player the 'GAME" thinks is in first. Watch the score board or race up date. The game can think you're in 1st place but you're still way back in second.. Catch up will slow you down instead.
