The Fascination with musical horns on expensive vehicles

I'm mean seriously, what is the allure of making your 700k+ car sound like the sound board from Pee Wee's playhouse.

I really want to know, and I perfectly understand troll-mobiles having this sort of thing.

All my horns are stock. My Off-Road cars have cop horns because it sounds like something you'd hear in a Dakkar cross desert rally.

 

People feel as if they HAVE to replace everything stock on their vehicle, that's the problem.

 

I have nothing against the horns, just the fact that absolutely everyone has musical ones that it's just a little over the top. Same with white-wall tires. They're on almost every modern motorcycle I encounter.

For me, I used Cop horn at first, then the nutcracker horn showed up and I couldn't help myself even though I know it's childish. Something about it made me giggle and bounce on my chair.

Apart from my Turismo R, the most expensive horn I ever buy is the Clown Horn, any higher than that is just a waste of money.

Out of tweny vehicles I have one truck (surfer) one cop (sultan) and one Valkyries (injection).

 

Honestly, the newer classical ones aren't bad. I'd love them to add hall of the mountain king....and someone recently suggested 'lowrider'.

I don't really get the deal with the musical horns either. i do own one, but it's the dixie horn on franklin's buffalo. the car also has an orange paint job and the license plate CNH 320, so there's a good reason for it. now if only we could add decals. I'd have an 01 on the doors and the rebel flag on top.

All of mine have truck horns lol. It's quite audible especially over any other horn. I'm bad, I know.

My least favorite part of racing, aside from the obvious constant pit maneuvers; would have to be the very start when everyone thinks its cool to lay on their horns. It is not cool.

I only have it on one car. and that is my Entity. Everything else has either the standard or police horn.

And the reason for it being on my Entity? Well, there isn't any good reason, really. I mean, having an Entity in itself is very unrealistic. And it's one of the most overpowered cars in the game, with it's high performance and ability to block gunfire from the back, it's just ridiculous. So I personally feel like the horn goes quite well with the Entity. So I guess the primary reason, is just because they're both stupidly fun.
