GTAO: Which Pegasus jet is most worth my money?

Vestra - Its practically a jump jet. It gets you where you need to go. It looks much better than the shamal, and you can dive bomb close to the ground and return to altitude in about 2 seconds and be unscathed

Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate the input. You've all inspired me to go with the Vestra, as it never really occurred to me that the Shamal is always at Devins. It's a neat looking little plane and I had intended to blow this money on something before grinding over the weekend for the update.

The other jets are pigs. If you want a super manuverable turboprop, its the Mallard.

I know how they all fly in comparison to props. The question was specifically about the jets.

I vote for Vestra because it is small and able to make tricks in the air but when you are more than 2 players Luxor is fun too.

I don't really see the point in buying those planes when you can easily steal one from the airport for free.

It's kinda like a Mallard.. but it's a jet..

Can pull of some sick turns with it and it's pretty nifty at hitting the ceiling, ideal for parachuting etc...

 

Even agile enough to give the Lazer the runaround in capable hands...

 

Downside is that it's two-seater...

Owning all the planes I can say they are all worthless. Helis are far more usefull... inless they add the laser don't buy any of them.

This is stupid because the Luxor is more high-end than the Shamal, so you're the "broke boy," really.

 

You can get the Luxor pretty much anywhere though, plus I hate the black paint-job, so the Shamal is more of a status symbol. Of course, I still own the Luxor, but don't fly it in case I get confused with a peasant who took it from Devin Weston's hangar.

 

Not to mention it's handling is way better than a Vestra, which is manoeuvrable but ridiculously unstable when you push it and knife-edge, fly upside-down, etc. The Shamal can also hold 10 people, compared to the Vestra's paltry 2. Pretty much the only thing the Vestra beats the Shamal in is speed, and the Shamal beats the Luxor in exclusivity, so I'd say Shamal.
