Grenade Fiend Award question

This is one of my last platinum awards to conquer and even though I have multiple grenade kills on players, the Grenade Fiend award is still sitting/stuck at 4/5 (Bronze).

I have been specifically using grenades to try and get it done but no luck getting it to budge. What gives? Has anyone else had trouble with this one? any tips or suggestions?

Not sure why that would be an issue as I did do a search and nothing came up. Either way, hopefully someone can shed some light.

Also OP, that is odd. Do you need to kill them while they are on foot or can you blow up their car and it still counts?

There are no "new mods" the only new one is Raavi and he's been on this forum for ages and he is the ONLY new led-by in this section.

I killed 6 today on foot and have been killing an average of 1-3 per session with grenades for the past few days. I haven't blown anyone up in their car with a grenade as far as I can remmber. Now sticky bombs....that's another story

I haven't had a problem with it. You are using the hand-held grenades and not the grenade launcher, aren't you?

Ask one of your friends to let you kill them a few times to see if you can get it to work or if it's glitched in the 4/5 position forever

I had the same issue, for some reason around half of my grenade kills do not count towards the award and for me they didn't count when the grenade killed someone who was in a vehicle.

Same from the rocket launcher and the flipping hell awards im doing both exactly right and i think they are just bugged and will eventually count with ALOT of attempts.

I've got the same issue too. Stuck at 15. I've noticed that they tend to register when you grenade players in a vehicle(which kinda counters the whole BS system). On foot, 9 times out of 10, the kill won't register.

For Flipping Hell I recommend having someone pick you up in a cargobob and fling/release you from max height. You can also use the underworld garage entry glitch by the red parking garage in the middle of town but make sure you have a passenger in the car. I struggled for ages until I learned about this.

I'm gonna try this. I tested blowing up my buddy last night both in free roam and in a private DM and got zero results. I killed him about 30 times too.
