Those of you who use passive mode, was there a possible hotfix?

I went into passive mode the other day after some RR and the enable passive mode function had a warm up timer of 10 sec before it put me into passive mode. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? or perhaps it was some sort of glitch? (as the timer usually counts down when exiting passive mode).

 

If there is another post on this topic please link me to it, I did a quick search which resulted in nothing desirable. Thanks

Never happened before to me. If it did always have a warm up timer I wouldn't have been able to survive an attack from a garage glitcher (the ones that kill you in the garage) a few weeks back

He is talking about the timer before going into Passive not coming out of it.

 

Which should be removed since you can't defend yourself but others can shoot you.

no, it's good because some assholes could stand right next to you in passive mode and then quickly disable it and shoot you.

But it's okay for people to shoot and kill those coming out of Passive before they can draw a gun defend themselves?

 

What i mean by that is the passive should remain until the countdown is to 0 so you can be killed until the clock runs out.

 

If I'm not mistaken aren't you one of those who are against full passive mode being equip because you like to kill people in passive?

 

Anybody who kills someone who is passive is a bigger pussy than twankers since people in passive can't defend themselves at all while you run them over

to make things clear, I am not completely against passive mode

It's good to use right after missions since even I think it's nasty to kill those people you're just finished a mission with.

 

And then there are those guys who kill you first and go into passive mode so you cannot get revenge or start a gunfight and get killed and directly swtich into passive mode. I call this abuse of passive mode... it IS a bitch move. Ever met a tanker who got killed and went right into passive mode? Then went for another tank /repeat...?

It is this kind of people I dislike so much that I would get a tank or chopper just to come back to these guys and kill them...

 

 

I don't mind if someone doesn't want to get shot after a mission or just wants to go back to his garage, enter a store in passive mode so he doesn't get shot while buying stuff.... unless he's using a mic and is being annoying

 

A full passive mode? So being "immortal" in a car while being able to run over people? Hell no!

ONLY (!!!) if Rockstar would make it impossible to run over people with the same method like they want to implement for non-contact-races. THEN I might agree, otherwise it's just a horrible idea.
