How stupid is your character?

Mine definitely has some really dumb moments...

 

Like when I'm trying to hide, I try to get into position to hide, press R1 and the dummy just keeps walking into the wall, or takes cover behind the wrong thing, usually out in the open where he can get shot. Or if I'm trying to shoot at something right in front of me, and he decides to shoot something else a litte further in the distance. (I know, turn auto aim off, but I'm not that good yet).

 

So what are some things that your character does that makes you think he/she is stupid?

Like when im directing my toon to get in the car and she doesn't want to listen to me which makes me scream at the tv "Bish if you don't get in the MOTHERF***ING CAR"

I'll admit I've had some WTF moments with my char.

Instead of stepping off the floating platform and on to the jetski, he jumps into the water and then climbs on to the jetski.

If I crash my car or miss with my pistol it is my fault, not the character. With other words it is depending on the player since the character does not have artificial intelligence or is able to play on autopilot like the characters in L4D series in campaign mode.

My guy will sometimes climb a latter and stand on the top rung and if I don't jump to the roof he will just fall all the way down

well there are buffering bugs all around? player can't providing spawn-lags if they are to fast i often crash into things on the street or things like that - or hiding behind cars in a shootout which magical disappear... some dump situations are not the player faults...

the most recent, i was in a gun fight, im hiding in a corner, the other guy is in a rooftop, im about to go out to kill the guy and instead of going out shooting, he decide to hide his weapon and when out swinging punches to the air.

 

got killed to say the least!

I would say my character is intelligent and pragmatic. Certainly pragmatic enough to know that no one cares how he looks. Also extremely confident.

You are wrong, I'm certain the character is controlling everything in the game including me.

He tells me what buttons to push subconsciously through the monitor.

My charachter is a criminal mastermind. Come on how many guys do you know that can fly a plane or helicopter, drive a tank, sky dive , operate any weapon, crack safes , hack computers. Id say hes a friggen genious if ya ask me.

Especially on RR with a helicopter, I have to press Y like 10 times before he gets in the damn thing.

Well, my guy is 'me' - make of that what you will...

First day online, walked off a sidewalk, tripped over my own feet and face-planted.

My immediate thoughts: "wow - talk about realism!"

Ungainly klutz in real life, likewise in-game - thankfully I'm mainly a pilot/sniper, so I'm either sat on my ass flying, or standing stock-still. If my survival chances ever had to depend on my sure-footedness (or lack thereof), I'd be a goner...

Frustrating thing about mine is when i'm running down a steep hill and he looses his footing and rag-doll's all the way down the mountain... I wish as your "Stealth" skill went into the higher ranks (like Ninja) that your coordination when going down cliffs or jumping off higher obstacles would follow suit! #ParkourPatch
