I've split up my cars in crime/heist related and casual/racing. It's gonna look like this:

 

Crime (In my Exceptionalists Way 10 car garage):

Sabre Turbo, Sandking XL, Merryweather Mesa, Benefactor Dubsta, Western Bagger, Western Daemon, Bravado Youga, Benefactor Feltzer. The two last spots I haven't decided on yet. Any suggestions?

 

Casual (At my apartment, wherever that is after Tuesday):

Dinka Jester, Truffade Adder, Overflod Entity XF, Bravado Banshee, Obey 9F Cabrio, Grotti Turismo, Pegassi Infernus, Ubermacht Sentinel (Hard-top Cabrio version), Grotti Stinger and either a Bati or a Thrust, whichever I like more come Tuesday.

I was hoping for a new 10-car garage up north for off road vehicles and motorcycles, but that's not going to happen so I doubt I'll be organizing my cars in any particular fashion. I'll just have two 10-car garages in the city and will probably be adding an Infernus, a Cheetah, a Z-type, a Merryweather Jeep if I can get one, and an offroad vehicle to be determined later. The rest of the garage space will be for ballers and future releases.

So I have $3.3M saved for the High Life update, and I'm trying to decide how to finesse my garages/apartments.

 

I want both characters to have two properties and one to own a luxury apartment, but clearly I don't need storage for 40 cars between two characters.

 

So, should I make a move before the update?

 

If I plan to buy the luxury apt. for character 1, then I can downsize that character to a 6-car garage now, take the extra money and upgrade to a luxury unit next week.

 

If I plan to buy the luxury apt. for character 2, I can sell off my mid-grade apartment now, and buy a 4 or 6-car garage.

 

Opinions? Does it make a fu&*ing difference at all?

I think you can get the Merryweather jeep by going up to Fort Zancudo and getting a wanted level, they come after you outside the base - if you can grab one and get it back to your garage - hopefully it can be stored there.

 

Or have a friend (or other player) call the mercs on you, they usually turn up on those don't they?

Well, my initial plan was to have one garage in the city (Del Perro Apartments, where my current apartment is) and a second garage out in the country. And then I'd split them up based on "city cars" and "country cars".

 

Now, seeing as though the likelihood of getting a 10 car garage anywhere outside the city limits is slim to none, I'm probably just going to get the 10-car garage just up the hill from the eastern-most LSC. Not sure how I'll split the garages if that's the case.

I'm thinking of going for a garage just full of SUpers and then the other garage being a mixture of the rest of the other classes. The cars I do buy will be bought to race in.

I'm already spread pretty thin between 2 characters as it is - I'm spending my current funds on a first 10-car for my newer character, plus a supercar for her (and three 'street' vehicles to round out the full complement).

That'd give me the following - all of which are 'keepers', that I'm unlikely to ever replace:

Character 1: Sultan RS - Elegy RH8 - Bati 801 - Ruiner - Futo - F620 - Vacca - Bifta- Merryweather Mesa - Banshee

 

Character 2: Prairie - Surano - Dominator - Rebel - Coquette - Vigero - Tailgater - Tornado - Infernus - PCJ-600

 

Probably won't get a second apartment, but might fork out for a large-ish garage for each. Not going to fill them, though - instead, I'll buy a few of the 'must-have' cars that I've lacked the space for (Massacro, Voltic, maaaybe the Entity XF and JB 700), and use the remaining space for storing gang cars, or to make room for any later DLC cars that catch my eye.

Honestly, I spent so long weeding out my top 10 cars for my original character (and then trying to do so again for character 2), that I'm pretty happy with my current 'fleet' of vehicles - if it didn't make the cut the first time around, then it's clearly not a vehicle I was ever desperate to own permanently.
