Still No Mention Of RP Resets For Next Week?

The RP reset is happening already to people who f*cked with the game!

It's really not hard to separate DNS/Glitched RP, to Legit. Someone lets say at LV800 with only 10Days of gameplay is an obvious cheat. With that said, I'm not exactly filled with confidence on how Rockstar will deal with the RP. They wiped all my legit money along with the modded cash given to me during The Great Wipe, as did a lot of people as well. If before, or after the update, I see my character at LV 1 for no reason? Well, I'll just fill out a ticket, and move on to a different game until they fix it. If they fix it.

I wouldn't say they wiped your legit cash because you probably spent your legit cash along with the hacked cash

 

I'll admit I spent a smidge of my hacked cash. But by the time they actually did the money reset, I had earned, and banked a ton of cash legit, that my balance should have stayed the same. Meaningless now of course, especially with my bankroll over 5million now anyways.People dont understand. If u got 50 mill hacked cash but earned 1 mill and spent over 1 mill then u spent ur legit cash. If you earned 5 mill and spent 7 mill then bought a shark card ofc that card went to pay ir debt

I think they'll do a reset right before heist comes out

It would be funny troll move by Rockstar if they reset the DNS people to level 1, then made heists available only to level 50's and above.

No, you're right, it wasn't glitching. All races that had more than one lap gave you a pretty large RP bonus for completing the first lap. People blame 'Criminal Records' and 'Down the Drain' because they were fast races, so people would only race them (you could get the same results for longer lap races, but you hardly ever seen them because every last darn race you came across was CR or DTD). It was a dark time for racing, as for a long time those were the only two tracks you'd ever see unless you hosted one yourself. People complained, so Rockstar nerfed the RP payouts of all races. I agree that it was unbalanced, however that does not mean that people that ranked up using that method 'glitched', because it was the legitimate RP structure for races at the time. The first nerf was the worst, you got almost no money or RP for races, ever since then Rockstar has been steadily increasing the payouts and RP you get for all types of races. So if anybody had ranked up that way, I doubt that you need worry. It's the DNS boosted RP that Rockstar is concerned with.

It's the principal...no one really cares about the resets besides the people it's going to affect but yet again R* are promising something then forgetting about it.

 

I know there's gonna be a load of 'they've been working on the dlc' comments - that's fine! Work on the DLC, but don't announce you're gonna be doing stuff if you're not sure you can get it done.

i beg to differ. the ones who actually did whatever cheat they did to actually get high levels ( science only knows why... thats half the fun) might be a little concerned.

 

and the squeekers who cant even attempt to do it again because of the fact that they used some guide that will become outdated from the patch will most definitely be the most upset.

They never said anything about reseting everyone's rank...only those that DNSed and whatnot. I believe R* stated if you farmed/grinded missions, your level/RP will be fine.

They won't. Money sweep didn't punish glitchers, and this won't be different.

they don't care about anybody's rp because that doesn't really affect their business/profit..

they only reset the money because it was directly affecting their business because the money-hacks decreased their profit from cash cards!

otherwise they would have done it with the rp already.

but look at what time they announced it.

they could have done it already (i.e. together with the money-reset) but they didn't.

 

by keeping this "problem" existing (which isn't a real problem for them), they still have always an excuse for the delaying heists and most people actually believe it.

 

if there is really a necessity for them to solve a problem (i.e. the money hacks which made the cash cards senseless) they can solve this really quick.

as they didn't reset the rp yet, i don't think they will do it anymore.

as i said, it helps them to have an excuse for delaying things.

Wrong, I got Billions in hacked cash and created a 2nd character to hold it. My main character had a legit 1.3 mil and R* took it all. They left the illicit character with $550K

 

R* did not try and do the math - they just dropped everyone to a max of $550

Prolly the way theu sid it it wont reset players who used dns to lvl 1 only removing levels gained in a dns lobby

they declared they will do it, but they won't tell you when and how.

 

should be soon since many already believe it won't ever happen, like the money reset wasn't ever happening too.

This seems pretty clear to me as who needs to be concerned or not. As for the OP question...it is and has been happening since they announced this.

As the title says, why's there no mention of RP resets for patch 1.13? I thought they were supposed to be resetting people soon haha. I have a level 983 and a second character at rank 137(Legit) so im not too fussed about resets but there was a huge discussion not long back about resets and im wondering why its gone quiet. Have I missed some vital information about it or not? Have they decided to throw that idea away or something?

It will probably happen like the money reset.

 

They said they would, and didn't mention it again until after they reset the money.

 

Unlike this forum, Rockstar doesn't make post after endless post on the same topic. They'll mention it once, then handle it.

only thing i got was a cash reset when everyone got reset, but being smart I bought everything that was available at the time, are they gonna do the RP reset from the DNS mods? I think my 173 is "legit" only thing i'm guilty of on my main is criminal records farming to 120

So, you spent no money after receiving the hacked cash? I had a legitimate $4.5mil before the money wipe, and had the same $4.5mil afterwards.

I'm level 81 and I'm grinding to get to 100. If they reset my level, I'll spam the living sh*t out of them. I've worked too damn hard at it, so why should I be reset?
