So I noticed that the description of Top Fun II says "A team of runners try to escape from outside LS International in Voltic Sports cars."

 

VOLTIC Sports cars wtf you run in Invetero Coquettes not Coil Voltics

I like these missions, though they are pretty unpopular.

 

In II as a runner, I always jump inside the airport and steal a jet myself. The hunters don't expect that :)

If I'm a runner, I'll drive to the subway and run as far through it as I can. Once at the opening to the tunnel, I wait. Jets crash trying to find me, even revealing my blip confuses the chasers. Once they work it out, up I pop out of cover,

, bang, I win. Never failed me yet.

 

This useless piece of information has probably made me forget something important.

Hopefully the last useless piece of information you got from this forum.

This tactic takes the fun right out, but we were only doing it to hopefully get another mission in the next voting screen- not to mention we are all friends.

 

I wouldn't recommend doing it with randoms (I know it would piss me off if it happened to me)

I win either as a runner or a hunter.Coil Voltic?I think they changed it before release since i think the Voltic accelerates faster than the Coquette thus making it harder to be shot by the jets.

Haha that's exactly what I do! Either shoot the hunters down or just go for the bridge before they realise what's happening lol

I can imagine you could get there if you knew what you were doing, probably catch them as they were about to take off. Remember, you have to run to the jet, do the animation of climbing up and kicking the canopy, then accelerate enough to take off.

I must admit I doubled back and grabbed a jet after the other players had taken off, they were not happy when I came up behind and took them out... first time I had somebody rage quit a mission, there is nothing in the rules to say we cant grab a jet too.... after all they left them just sitting there...

Davey pretty much nailed it. Again, this was a game with friends on mics. We were deep in conversation and all a little distracted.

 

I agree that it would be nearly impossible in a competitive setting.

I though the same exact thing.

 

Someone trying to sound like a bad ass about something that didn't happen.

Top Fun (1/2/3) are my favorite. Though Top Fun 3 (Jet - Plane) is a bunch of rubbish.

Dont remind me of that abomination. I had successfully repressed the time I played that. It was 1 vs 1 too. They could at least force there to be multiple people on each side before allowing you to start the mission (removing it entirely would still be better). Its the most pointless thing ever on 1 vs 1.
