It'll eventually be ported to the PS4, most likely a year from now, that's a fair estimate, though it could take longer or it could come sooner. Especially if they want to guarantee the longevity of GTA Online.

Only gonna get ps4/xone when gta 6 is announced. Same like I did for gta v with last gen.

 

I'm actually with you on that, I actually bought a 360 just to play GTA V. Since I waited so long to get it, I only paid $148 for the console (pristine condition) with all cords and a controller included, as well as paying precisely $49 for the game less than a month after its release (rather than over $60 at the store). However I'm going to do the same with GTA 6. I'm going to wait until I can buy it for less than $50 and the console for under $200. (Which probably won't happen until like 2020)

If they release for the Piss4 and Xboned then the x360 and PS3 versions will be ghost towns. Those of us who don't have the 400-500 dollars to throw away on the "next gen" consoles will have next to no population to play with.

 

Not to mention the 360 and PS3 versions will be completely ignored with all content being focused on the Piss4 and Xboned versions.

Every time anything remotely big comes along, there are leaks all over the place.

Remember how many people thought it will be announced in January? Or when they had that meeting in February? Or PAX?

Rockstar is going to take every opportunity to get every dollar from us. Not saying they are bad for that, but they're a company, their whole existence is to make money and if they see a potential window into making a lot more of money they are going to take it and not look back.

 

That said GTA V confirmed; PC, PS4, Xbox1, and maybe the WII U. Just imagine playing GTA on the WII hahaha

Your progress would more than likely transfer since R* uses cloud servers. Assuming you keep your same online ID when switching I don't see there being a progress issue.

I will get a ps4, but gta v again. The singleplayer wasn't really that groundbreaking to buy it again, and since I'm on Xbox 360 my gta online stats won't transfer over whether or not it is available to psn users, and I don't want to spend long trying to get my progress back.

The graphics are fine. Not saying that this is not coming to PS3/360 but it would leave plenty room on X1/PS4 to add more online like pedestrians or random NPC events and wildlife. Maybe a deeper car modification system and even expand the island. I wonder if they would bump up the player count a little.....24 players? Not that its really needed though.

Xbox One is not in bad shape, it's in much better shape that the Xbox 360 was and that was great. The PS4 is just in better shape but not nearly enough for a developer to let themselves lose the money they would gain by also developing to both systems. Notice how most 3rd party developers going exclusive in PS4 are indies, which probably are safer taking the exclusivity deal money. Exclusivity is bad for bussiness and the medium. RIP my spelling I think.

X1 definitely not in bad shape, just going through the same problem with developers the PS3 had when it first came out, and the PS3 wasn't consider "in bad shape" then. Sounds like fanboy talk that's all, both systems are amazing.
