Killzone3265
longstory short, i had to disassemble my laptop to get to its fan, which was in a heavily need for dusting dusted, put everything back together, done then, powered on, waited for everything to load blah blah, everything was fine, except, heres where the problem comes in my laptop that used to pick up my routers signal all around my house, even outside, now only picks it up in a 5 foot range be fore losing all wireless connection though for some reason i can get a 44% connection from my room, directly above the router that used to be in the 90s but now it halved so, i think i may have done something to the wifi card, or antennas, what should i do to fix this issue? my sh*tty laptop is an acer aspire 4752
Slamman
Usually any such routine maintenance has no bearing at all on Wifi, antennas usually go to the screen on either hinge side, Although removing the screen entirely is good for working on the bases without hindrance, just check that both MAIN and AUX antennas are attached, firstly. I did a quick search on your model, found a website link to parts, you should have two antenna wires, http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/421-86327-23974/Gateway-NV-Series-Wireless-Antenna-Cable.html
