So I was really hoping the high life DLC would bring new apartment buildings and spread the players out a bit and cut down the pvp apartment spawnkilling bullsh*t. Now it appears R* may have increased this by having all the high end apartments close together. Could this cause more people to abandon public lobbies because they are tired of constant pvp in free roam?

If a person has a K/D ratio of 30 cause he enjoys tank battles and griefing, like a large chunk of the players in online like doing. why would a update with new apartments stop them?.

The apartments, well, a few of them. are already really close together, we're fine dude, population of GTA:O isn't a issue.

It will lead to more people because many have quit playing until this release, lol! Plus most people aren't pussies scared of pvp, they shoot back.

I'm not scared of it i just don't like to do it. If i want to pvp, i play deathmatch. In free roam i just like to do my own thing without having to worry about some random killing me for no reason. Yeah i know, passive mode or private lobbies. Private lobbies get boring and passive doesn't do sh*t in a car.

The main tip of online; be very VERY aware of where everyone is and where to run where-ever you are.

You see a dot lazily coming towards you, and then it suddenly disappears? Move. Off the radar is very popular nowadays.

What constant pvp free roam? Are we even playing the same game? At most these days I usually see like 2-3 guys shooting at one another and everyone else is doing whatever.

Not really how high life apartments will really effect this any meaningful way either. It isn't really introducing new players into the system.

I don't see why it would reduce player population. Quite the contrary. Something I will love is that players always rush for the expensive and the new so maybe it reduces people living in the same place.

What are all those worries about players clustering and thus more PVP? Don't you know how to avoid unwanted players and unnecessary encounters? How long have you been playing this game?

Op dislikes pvp but says invite only gets boring.

That's pretty contradictory.

I like to talk and interact with other players but i don't like to constantly have to worry about some jackass killing me while i'm minding my own business. For example. I had a wanted level for something, probably robbing a store, and i was sitting in an alley waiting for it to go away. I see a white dot nearby and think "i'm not moving and minding my own business, i have nothing to worry about". All of a sudden i'm dead. Wtf? I yelled hard into the mic after i lost my car to impound. "Hey asshole, i was f*cking hiding from the cops. I had no intention of fighting you."

That's the kind of thing i am tired of in GTAO. The constant free roam pvp. If i want to pvp, i'll play deathmatch.

There is a reason i only have a 0.59 k/d with over 1000 hrs of gameplay.

Nah I don't think it will. Worse that will happen is that people begin to target each other and blow up each of their chrome adders.

It will increase server population for all of a week, and then everyone will go back to doing what they were before.

A 6 star wanted level should be added with the millitary stepping in,this would reduce the population of [email protected]#holes who like free roam deathmatches

The highest priced apartment will dictate where the new warzone will be. Might be a change.

Its part of the game, dude. If you're hiding from cops and you see a white dot nearby, be on guard. It wouldn't be an issue if you were a better player and killed him first. Don't be such a Nancy and learn how to defend yourself and fight back.

If a person has a K/D ratio of 30 cause he enjoys tank battles and griefing...

I met that guy last night, him and his 8.0 K/D buddy each had tanks on the top of a building and idiots kept repeatedly walking into it like they wanted to die...I tried to RPG them from a distance and either I was missing them or the distance was actually too far...I eventually got a helicopter and parachuted in with passive mode, went off-radar, switched off passive, threw the airstrike flare, and that was that

I ignore white dots for the most part. Free roam to me is not death match. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If i want to kill people over and over, I go play death match.

I wouldn't of thought so, the only time I use my apartment other than for changing vehicles is when I want revenge on douche bags pretty much to the point when they leave the server knowing all they can do back is put a bounty on me, so nah I don't think it'll change things much

@blk95ta. I agree with you, free roam is not where deathmatch should take place it should be in

Deathmatches.

None of my players kills have come from a free roam session but a lot of my deaths have but I don't

see that there will be a decrease in playing in public servers, perhaps there will be for a time

for those of us who want to acquire new cars for the new garage but think it will be about the same

as now.

Mate, if it was obvious then the OP wouldn't have an issue.

Only if there's many more things to do in apartments. By that I mean people may be in public lobbies, but not in the open world.

They might as well make a Sim Life DLC

I don't avoid public lobbies cause of the incessant kill sprees.

I don't avoid public lobbies cause of tanks.

I avoid them because of hackers.

I would imagine a lot of people avoid them because of the hassles of hackers and wall breachers...and not cause of rampant death. I mean this is GTA after all. I don't recall any GTA game being about tiddly winks.

p. much this

i find it fun to have casual conversations with random people while i'm off in blaine county doing stupid sh*t with my car

then some boring ass, wannabe CoD/Battlefield pro comes in and tries to force me to have a sh*tty deathmatch with them. sure, sometimes it's fun to back my infernus into them and gun them down as a direct "f*ck you", but when they get to following me everywhere, it gets f*ckin annoying. hence i'm in a tank sh*tloads, just to get these f*cktards to leave me alone

love how OP hate pvp but get bored in a invite only hahaha

i think the level of freeroam battles would decrease with time, not because R* spread the apartments all over the city.

You get the best laugh in inv-only messing about with just your mates. Public lobby mentality is to shoot first then don't even ask any questions at all.

Nothing will change.

I'll say it once, and I'll say it again. Rockstar should just give the option to join Passive, non-PVP lobbies.
