My guess is that they use their own server with everything unlocked, meaning no economic system.

Judging by their online events in the past, that may seem likely.

I remember in GTA IV, they barely had crap unlocked.. then again it's not their real accounts.

Only god knows. All I know is that he posted a thread last year after the game released.

f*ck Lamar, I want to talk to the voice actor who recorded the immortal line of "sh*t dick". I think they could really give me some insight into both the game and the life in general. I think he would be an optimist and give me inspirational advice like "when life gives you sh*t, make sh*t dicks".

Didn't every voice actor say "sh*t dick"?

Chances are within Rockstar towers there'll be some independent servers for testing, completely separate to the grid to prevent leaks and just connected to a handful of consoles.

If any employees actually play outside work, amazingly not got bored after working with it all day, they'll have the same as you and I.

They boosted their dev play accounts, but don't have anything from Lester unlocked.

And to those saying they have a separate server for testing: lol.,as if they even test anything.

It would seem logical to assume Rockstar has their own testing servers where everything is unlocked and free and then they play on normal accounts on normal servers, assuming they even want to play the game after dealing with it all day long.

They do. Fact.

R* private accounts probably look the same as your average player, maybe one with less time to play perhaps.

I mean the dev plays. I'm sure normal employee accounts have the same as us.

The dev play accounts they use in livestreaming

What if I do understand gravity :O?

And explain how they could screw up a mechanic they didn't had to touch at all (Fire Truck) if they do test their stuff? If they touch the mechanic, they gotta make sure the change works too.

Else, if it ain't broken, don't fix it!

Lol I ran into a guy on ps3 that showed proof he was a dev tester he gets online around 7pm on fridays and 5pm monday-saturday. On Sunday's he's offline. I met him around October he had he highest end apartment and supercars before glitches where even released. I would say his username but he is on the forums himself.

I used to play with Jesus. I knew it was because the guy told me he was and no-one ever lies online. He was on all the time earlier in the year but disappeared on good Friday. He was back again for Easter but I haven't seen him again since then

They have UFOs and they sometimes kidnap clueless players to do some beta-testing with them

How would I go about explaining to you just how incredibly complex a program the size of Grand Theft Auto V (+ Online) is? Changing (or fixing) one thing can cause unintended issues elsewhere, which certainly cannot always be predicted. And you can't test every little thing that isn't related to the thing it isn't fixing; we'd never get updates or the game to begin with. Just not enough hours in the day.

Then you've got bugs that don't always happen, and some that are seemingly impossible to reproduce. So on and on.
