Increasing a Fully Upgraded Car Value?

When someone blows up my Entity, they pay $9,932 for the insurance.

However, I've noticed that when I've blown up another player's Entity, the value has been somewhat higher, maybe $9,800 or even $10,000.

Adders are even more expensive to replace at upwards of $12,000+.

Is there any way to increase the value of a fully upgraded vehicle? Do certain paint jobs or tires affect the overall value?

What about lights? Horn? etc.

Just curious, because if I'm going to lure players into blowing up my PV just to attack them at the wallet level, then I want to get the most bang for the buck.

Putting whatever doesnt increase insurance costs

putting the most expensive stuff does increase value when you sell it, but not insurance costs

blow up a stock adder 12.5k

All cars have the same insurance value forever. The Adder is $12,500, no matter how many modifications you have on it. The Entity is $9937 (not $9932 like you always say for some reason) and I believe the Turismo is $6250.

My Akuma is worth $674,150.

I had metallic grey Entity with all the body customizations and Racer S rims, which had the insurance cost of $9,932.

Then I went for a cleaner look and took off the bodykit, gave it stock rims and made it classic orange without changing anything about the fully upgraded engine.

It had a premium of only $8,500 after that.

The more/expensive upgrades the vehicle's got, the higher the resale/insurance value. Chrome and/or pearlescent paints, carbon parts, high end rims/horns all matter.

if that was the case insurance on the adder would be 100k would it not?i think its like 1.25% considering insurance on the adder is 12.5k and the adder costs 1 mil and i know for a fact upgrading dosnt raise the insurance value.

I think adding insurance is 10% of the car value, not the paying out the insurance when the car is destroyed.

 

When I lost my super diamond insurance due to the slot 1glitch, it cost me 10% of the super diamond price to insure it.

makes no sense tho 10% of 1 mil is 100k 10x 100 000 is 1 mil where 1% is 10k

Even if it doesn't, painting your car chrome is a sure fire way to encourage people to blow up your vehicle, so definitely important if your looking to hurt your opponent's pocket.
