Empty public lobbies?

Since last night, every time I go to a public lobby, I am the only person in it. Also whenever I get an invite to join a job, I get a message that says invites have been disabled in this session

 

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I too am suffering from this. I'm just about to give up the whole online-deal.

In races and missions, the highest number of players I've seen at once (in 20+ hours of playing) is 4.

 

Yesterday, I was actually placed in several lobbies with 10 or more players in free roam. That was fun.

Logged on again today, and I once again seem to be alone in the universe...

so after doing a bit of testing, i think i may have discovered why this is happening to me. i'm on ps3 btw

 

i noticed that after getting put in empty lobbies time and time again. If i logged out of psn, ran the internet connection test, and then logged back into gta i was being put back in full lobbies. It seems that rockstar servers are not recognizing my nat type and thus I was essentially being put in solo sessions.

 

what i can't figure out though is why sometimes my nat type is not being reconigzed, while other times it does
