Heists and WatchDogs release date coincide?

This would be a dick move in my opinion after Ubisoft openly congratulated Rockstar on their achievements with GTA V.

 

If they do decide to do this, I'm gonna be playing Watch Dogs anyway.

I hate to be cynical but heists aren't going to be released until June 24th. At the earliest June 17th. Heists were NEVER going to come out around Watchdogs or because of Watchdogs. It's a fun theory but totally unfounded.

They obviously won't release heists on the same day or week as Watchdogs. People who want to play Watchdogs will still pick it up and play no matter what R* does.

What R* will do is release the heists two weeks after Watchdogs release to allow the players they lost to Watchdogs to get bored of that game and be looking for a reason to come back to GTAO...enter heists.

theyre rolling out high life this upcoming week... WD comes out in what 2 weeks? I dont see another DLC pack coming out until maybe July in my opinion...

I highly doubt Heists will be released 2 weeks after the High Life DLC. The earliest I would expect them is early to mid June. Though it may be longer than that.

That is one late Spring.

 

I'm not sure, but if we have another douple xp/money weekend, im sure it will be sure to follow soon afterwards.

I doubt that's true; Rockstar wouldn't do it to 'sabotage' Ubisoft, because it may just as well backfire. There are some people who will let GTA collect dust as soon as Watch Dogs is released, and I am one of those people. I don't really much care if the heists are released the same week of Watch Dogs; as soon as my copy arrives, I'm putting GTA back on the shelf for a long time.

The only way that Rockstar can sabotage Ubisoft's game is to Announce the PC/NG Versions of V before the release of WD other than that nothing will.
