how will this work? example I own an apartment and buy a 2nd apartment,will I have to drive certain cars from one to the other,with the prospect of running a gauntlet of tanks? or can I send my mechanic from one to the other with cars? thoughts please.........

Easy, you'd have to take the cars to the garage because if you went to the garage and called the car, it would say you're too close to your garage.

All we "know" is what's been "confirmed" via R* Support - that you can drive vehicles between garages. We can probably then assume it'll be like musical cars to re-arrange them. A pain, yes but it's better than nothing. Moving from Garage 1 Spot 8 to Garage 2 will take it to the nearest open Spot, or if you have none it'll run down the list just like it already does (1-10).

1 6

2 7

3 8

4 9

5 10 elevator

 

The rest of calling your mechanic we will soon find out.

Anyway, I'm pretty much sure you'll have to drive cars from garage to another garage, and it will then take the open spot left in that garage. I read something like this a while ago.. Makes sense tho

My guess is certain cars only available in each garage so you're going to have to remember where each car is.

Hopefully you can go to the new apt and call your mechanic from outside to get cars from your old garage. Problem is to rearrange the cars from your old garage are you going to have to take them to your new garage first so that their designated spot in the old garage is vacated then when you take them back they will go in first available? Gonna be a cluster f*ck that first couple days with everyone going back and forth. Gonna have to do this in invite only to be safe

Just transfer your cars/bikes on a solo/private server, no more tanks wrecking your fine wheeled machines, there we go, problem solved!... :karmaeater:
