f*cking finally, this time round it just felt like they released news & screen shots too early.

As for apartment's I never expected new ones as none of the suggested buildings have buzzers on the wall so no let down there.

What does suck is it looks like the grille for the Zentorno has been taken directly from the turismo.

It really depends how you've chosen to view the word new. If I live in a building and move to another apartment in the same building I have moved to a NEW apartment.

 

Its not that I'm pleased by this, I want a 10 car garage outside the city, but the ability people have to take a simple statement and interpret it to suit themselves is frankly astonishing...

I'm really disappointed by this High Life DLC. Same apartments with re-skinned rooms, The SUV and motorcycle are ugly, more sports and super cars AGAIN, another rifle, and MORE SUITS?!?!? I was really looking forward to new apartments and the new motorcycle and SUV.

It depends on what your definition of is is.

 

And my definition of "easy route" is having five new apartments and zero new locations/buildings. It's completely pointless to offer new apartments in pre-existing buildings when they could have simply offered the option to change in the appearance of the current apartments and given people the option to own more than one of them. The option of new ones in the same buildings makes no sense whatsoever.

 

I wouldn't be so upset if I didn't actually really like the game and think it had so much potential. However, the DLC's have largely been "doing the minimal amount" - some new cars, some new clothes (largely just repurposed) and now new apartments in underwhelming fashion. There could have been so many awesome new locations that would also benefit everyone from spreading people out. Instead, more apartments in areas that are already a warzone or increasingly crowded.

I am most happy about the ability to store 20 cars, I do wish they had 10 car buildings north of the city. I'm stoked on the no contact racing.

The High Life Update also includes new wardrobe options, vehicle horns and player toasts/celebrations as well as 15 new Jobs - including 5 new Contact Missions.

Although this probably would not be possible for R* to incorporate because the apartment is supposed to be a middle end one, I would have loved, regardless, to possibly see a high end apartment in the Apt that is located right near the Boat docks. It's such a shame It only holds six cars.

The fact remains that it was never said we would get new apartments IN NEW BUILDINGS. People just assumed that. Yes, they've taken the easy route. I agree its kind of pointless. Thanks for cropping out the part of my post where I made it clear I didn't support this....

That's what this Brian B said on the rock star forums. Hopefully they are keeping the ones additional to Eclipse and Majestic a secret until they drop the DLC. Otherwise Brian B is full of sh*t.

He said "These are brand new apartments."

 

So, for example, current apartments would be:

 

Richards Majestic, Apt. 51

Richards Majestic, Apt. 4

 

A "brand new apartment" could be:

 

Richards Majestic, Apt. 37

 

"New Apartments"... Not "New Apartment Buildings."

Not really possible, considering the existing buildings. 6-car, maybe, but there's just nowhere big/swanky enough in Sandy Shores/Paleto Bay/Grapeseed to accommodate a 10-car.
